With this campaign event, we are being granted all three rewards, and as such this opens up a lot for free to play players to gain by completing it. In this video, we go over what's the best to purchase with your 1,500 Lobi which is part of the event campaign VI reward. Ships? Space equipment? Ground weapons? What's good and what is bad, it's all here.

Personally I think Deca needs to do a complete overhaul to the lobi store and the items in the store especially with regards to the fact most if not all of the items in said store are only usable on a per char basis instead of being account unlockable.
Great video! You missed the Section 31 phaser pistol that you've previously recommended: pretty much the only weapon to give Expose and Exploit on the same weapon so worth considering, especially if the Shaxcannon isn't your idea of ground Barbie :) The Boolean cannon is also still "an oldie, but a goodie". But the Shaxcannon is overall an absolute beast and something I'd always recommend as a sound investment to make you Elite ground ready - while you can do way more damage via consoles, when I'm feeling super uninspired I just run elite ground just firing this weapon and it gets you through without too much difficulty
Im surprised he didnt mention the kelvin timeline intel dreadnought cruiser in the ships list it is kinda good with isomags
Maybe kelvin timeline and the other alternative time frames doesn't belongs to current 22nd to 32nd century ship development process.

Could you do a video on like the top KDF ships in the C store.....seems KDF doesn't get much attention.
Although some people might have not realised you can get the Genesis Bundle from the C-Store which includes the 2285 compression Lobi pistol account reclaimable - every boff gets one by default and in some causes I have to turn them passive as they kill enemies too quickly so cannot do endeavours. Verry strong first weapon for new or temp captains too and at 50 Lobi a purchase huge savings. I ensure that I do get the shax canons for my main toons eventually I tried the rife but prefer the feel of beams compared to riffle as have the click buttons less.
Already planning on either the Maquis or Paradox depending on which is more expensive in the Exchange when people start finishing the season and are looking to flip that Lobi quickly, then just buying the cheaper one, but nice to have more information.
The Lobi Store is one of the biggest mysteries to me in this game. Not its existence, nor the things available to buy. But specifically the logic behind not caring to show players exactly what's on offer regarding cosmetic items. I don't get it at all. Isn't one of the greatest features about this game, actually one of the greatest features about so many games today, the ability to alter the look of a character and customise their gear, weapons, as well their vehicles, etc? Hasn't this proved so popular and I would imagine incredibly profitable throughout the whole industry because it's not simply fun to go virtual-shopping but it allows a game to have a virtual economy (which can directly equate to pure profit for developers) giving players a rewards for playing and allowing them to spend that on customising their character. And doesn't this actually increase a game's enjoyment?
I honestly believe a major part of what has allowed this game to last as long as it has is in part down to ithe sheer level of customisation available. Doesn't it give players a sense of ownership over our characters, make us feel we're 'our' game, with 'our' character/s. Isn't the ability to alter the visuals, rather than be forced to use a set character with a fixed set of ships and gear incredibly fun!? So why aren't there images of everything cosmetic in the Lobi Store? I presume the all developers understand why they create customisable gear. And the fact they do have images of ships and a lot of other items demonstrates they understand that the point of 'cosmetic' items is to alter the look of things, making actual pictures of what's available of some importance. I don't get. Whether these clothing, armour, etc is created purely to give players more options, or an attempt to maybe bring in a little extra profit not giving people an instant visual representation, in game, is a complete mystery to me.

There is a trait in game called Tenaviks council Triggers off of Weapons or Kit Modules that deal either Damage over Time or Antiproton Damage. When triggered, it applies an additional Antiproton DoT, combined with a +20 antiproton damage herald kit and an advanced herald antiproton beam projector which is chaining to other targets, it totally obliterates everything with just your weapon fire, the sound of it firing puts a lot of people off, yet you can get a herald kit for about 20K (Can get +20% damage to any weapon type) Tenaviks costs a bit more. Really good ground combo though. If you've got assimilate which causes a dot, its instant drone armies.

Kind of interested in the Romulan sword for my Romulan space knight because themeing. Other than that... Boimler. Still, with the new campaign it is good to think about these items.
The Iconian Meridian you have on is from the mission "Midnight", not a purchased costume.

great video! hey i love that disco full auto rifle. no offense to the shax cannon, but for me, when it comes to that ground barbie the disco has the perfect blend of beauty and effectiveness, looks so tactical the way you move while firing. i'm gonna get one of the kit perf modules today, and i think that tholian ship for the trait when i finish all the events. you know, ss3 shit.
I want a ship but there are so many must have consoles that there won't be any left for a ship.

Thanks for the video. One ship I was curious if you would mention is the Ateleth, which I didn’t hear. Is BO viable enough to get the Ateleth for Superweapon Ingenuity?
BO has a lot of issues that were fixed in Surgical Strikes. One of the reasons I don't really play it anymore. That and the Ateleth itself is not exactly a great ship to use.
You forgot as well with the ground weaps the dsc rifle has 1 less mod due to the (dsc) mod if you use the mission reward one it gives you the extra mod so it’s superior and the sec 31 pistol does great dmg you used it in your exploit build and then the phaser pistol from ent has a stacking debuff secondary for debuff builds

Anything in the Lobi store or from most of the Infinity Lockbox are character only yes.

If you can buy them with EC, then do so. Keep the lobi for traits, etc.

Beacon of Kahless is just as annoying. I leave it off my ship as it is more of a detriment than a help. So the Maki console is also not worth using unless you trying to piss off your fellow players.
It doesn't do bad damage, but the blinding light is annoying. I only use it when I absolutely have to disable enemies or die.

Dranuur Scout Ship, technically. The Chekov is C-store so fairly cheap if you don't want to mess with fleet stuff.

How do you have 1500 event points?
If you buy out an event at the start, you can continue running it every day and basically get double the event points.
Or just be normal and do it for free. :)

I ended with 950 from just doing the event daily. I missed a few days or would have gotten more
So I did it all but 1 day for the event, and got 1150/4200. I believe this man, Augment, did that 20 Hour Cooldown on Cooldown hahaha ;)
there are some mods for STO you can get that will let you use anything for any char like say you could turn a Gorn into a giant caitian.
Probably not a good idea to use mods at all, as Cryptic has made it clear they don't like people messing with their code.
@@AugmentedDictatorGames its kinda too bad i love the idea of being able to use any clothing on any race.
I've known a number of people who were banned for using mods like that before Cryptic patched the tailor to work completely differently, making modding impossible.
@@vichraev.5386 sounds like they are just as stingy as Rockstar wont fix bugs and things that will help with missions and stuff, but they see one glitch thats cosmetic they loose their minds and patch it instantly.
