I was a 16 yr old girl and my Dad came home with 4 tickets for my sister and Mom to see Elvis at the Niagara Falls Convention Center, June 24, 1974. I will never forget that concert, in my memories and heart forever. Lisa Marie was his only child.

When Lisa left, I know her father was crying happy tears. I saw her for the last time on what would have been her dad"s 88th birthday on the Graceland livestream. She did not look well, and I thought, "She's ready to be back in her daddy's arms again. Elvis, here comes your baby girl." A few days later, she was gone and went to join her dad. I was never a fan of her music, but I always be a fan of her father. Now she can laugh, sing, and play with her father, and have the father daughter time she has waited for after many years apart from him. And she can spend some time with her son Ben and her grandparents too. RIP Ben, Lisa Marie, Vernon, Gladys, and Elvis.

Lisa Marie Presley was the apple of her father's eye. She was loved by both parents from the day she was born. But she also shared a tragedy with Elvis in that he was never the same after his beloved mother, Gladys died. Lisa Marie has been overshadowed by the death of Elvis her entire life. Where could she go to get peace? Everywhere all her life she was reminded of his presence in this world. And she had to live in it without him. Her mother, Priscilla did all she could but nothing can replace the emotional stroke that paralyzed a young girl and threw her world into chaos. She managed a few glimpses of happiness. Even had a family. And the loss of one her children was clearly traumatic. But I believe this film about her father awakened something deep inside her and broke her heart all over again.
In a recent interview she said it took her a full 5 days to recover from the experience of seeing his life portrayed so accurately by Austin Butler. She was clearly.out of sorts the night of the award show and the red carpet and following ceremony.
My wish is for peace and a reunion with her father. I'm sure he is waiting for her with open arms. And the little girl and her daddy can be together again. I like their duet, I LOVE YOU BECAUSE.
    R.I.P. Lisa Marie.

It was the suicide of her son that destroyed her! It made her a recluse for 2 years. The movie was a bright light to Lisa that renewed her enthusiasm for life.i think it brought her father back to her. I don't think it was enough. Lisa Marie had said she saw her father in her son Ben and it made her scared for him.

It shouldn't be that good. The original and the 1970s live version we see on youtube are untouchable. BUT THIS.... THIS is INSANELY GOOD. SO GOOD in fact that it fills my mind with thoughts that if Elvis had lived, how much further Lisa Marie's music career would have gone. Her voice even without his legendary presence and teachings is FIRST CLASS TOP TIER. HER VOICE IS SO UNIQUE. Them together on a stage FOR REAL???????????????? That would have been OTHER WORLDLY. She DESERVES every bit of praise and love she is getting right now. She was VERY SPECIAL. She did the PRESLEY LEGACY SO GOOD. She has SET UP HER CHILDREN to NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MONEY OR LOVE. Because we LOVE THOSE THREE PRESLEY DAUGHTERS.

You really should listen to Lights Out by Lisa Marie so you can hear how she sounds alone.
Lights Out is from her first album (she has 3) and it's about her, her dad and the Presley family, Graceland and the Graves in the backyard.
She normally sings in a lower voice. She sang higher in this song to be a different register than her father.

    More Elvis please...
As a lifelong hardcore Elvis fan, I promise you the 3 box sets/playlists below are the BEST Elvis collections out there. These sets give you the complete Elvis deep-dive, from the Sun Records demo recordings as a teenager to the final recordings of the '77 CBS Special. They came out in 1995 and include EVERYTHING! From the obvious hits to all the deep cut gems. You haven't gone on the full Elvis Presley journey until you've listened to these box sets.
From the raw, bluesy, gospel, Rock'a'Billy, leg shaking, young, 50s Elvis, to the slightly more toned down and polished, yet equally entertaining as always, sometimes silly 60s movie era Elvis, to my personal favorite, the more mature and experimental, more serious (musically speaking ie. Lyrical subject matter/depth and musical arrangements He never lost that sense of humor and slightly goofy, but sincere, charm), slower ballad, karate kicking, blinged out (and, tragically drugged out) 70s Vegas era Elvis. The 70s set alone proves definitively why Elvis is the G.O.A.T.

She also sings Don't cry Daddy and Never stand alone with him. She has 3 albums. She has 4 children. Her only son took his life. She has 3 daughters that includes the twins. Btw, we lost David Crosby today of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. Y’all just did Southern Cross. 😢 So many good artists leaving us. He left some beautiful songs that will be played for generations. ❤

So many feelings…. This is also one of my favorite Elvis songs. This compilations is a reminder of so much time lost. Missed opportunities in the Presley family as well as the sadness of the lyrics.

RIP Lisa Marie. She was married to Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage, and though she had a checkered career, she had the honor of being The King's only child. Now they're back together again.

The only child by: Priscilla Presley and after court proceedings by others who claim to be Elvis's children, Priscilla agreed to now only say that Lisa Marie was Elvis's only child by Her. Lisa's half-sister, Deborah, was even with Priscilla at the hospital where Lisa died. Lisa Marie left three children behind and that is also worth mentioning and she had no children with Michael Jackson nor Nicolas Cage. Those two "mistake marriages", as Lisa Maire called them, weren't even worth mentioning. Nor here either.

🙏 not much to add to that ! My biggest wish in life is , I wish Elvis had played the part in “A star is Born” with Barbra Streisand. That would have been great 😢

That was absolutely amazing. I think Lisa Marie died of a broken heart due to the tragedy of her son. A real terrible loss to music. On a similar subject, one of the greatest rock guitarists of all time, in the same league as the likes of Eric Clapton just passed. Mr. Jeff Beck. Starting as one of the Yardbirds and many others including a long solo career. Jordan, with your love of electrc guitar virtuosos, Jeff Beck is an absolute lengend. You must discover the guy who had more tricks and techniques with a Fender Stratocaster than anyone!

Lisa Marie was 9 when Elvis died at Graceland. She was with him. You must listen to her singing the duet with her father Elvis “Where No One Stands Alone” which was penned by Mosie Lister.
