What is the implement so many are using? Esp. in first few videos- all the pens are wild in this video. So glad to have found the channel.
It is an oblique holder. It holds the nib at a position that helps achieve the correct angle for the script. Itis mainly used for Spencerian script but many use it for Copperplate also.

@@nicematerial That's half the fun with Calligraphy. Trying new tools 🙂. It is not too difficult to use. Although I am fairly new to calligraphy so don't take my advice either
@@nicematerial keep in my mind that traditionally this tools is not supposed to be used for this script, it's a modern thing and there are limitations, if you want to write properly Copperplate- use straight pen holder

Hi! I'm interested in learning calligraphy using normal pens (ballpoint) anyone knows where can i find some resources around it?
How do the guidelines get erased without damaging the lettering?
You wait for the ink to dry and than gently erase them 🙃
I am in search of these type of nibs but they are not available here in Pakistan
