Is it really nun gunna? Nun ghunna is what I have always known. نون غنہ
You are absolutely right ... it's not a gāf it's a ǧain! I show the correct letter when transliterated, but I didn't pronounce it correctly! 🤦Good catch!
@@Urduseekhiye Thanks. I teach Urdu to high schoolers so they can get a language credit and middle and elementary levels in USA so I am very careful about the correct pronunciation.
@@sonyasyeda That's awesome! Urdu is actually taught at the high school level for credit?!
@@Urduseekhiye yes in some school districts.

Thank you, good and useful lessons. ...All these letteres are for arabic words which entered or have borrowed by non-arabic muslim peoples like Persians and Afghani (Pashtun and Tajik) and Pakistani peoples,, these letters I mean (ث ح ذ ص ض ط ظ ع غ ق ) but we the Kurds (in Iraqi and Iranian Kurdistans) write only some of them like ( ح، ع، غ، ق ) the others we write and pronounce like (s, z, t) as such: ث، ص = س،،، ذ ظ = ز، . Persian language has a lot of arabic words, I think 60%, they destroyed their beautiful language during centuries,, and this process continues till to day,, they throw out their words and adopt arabic ones!!! but we the Kurds, we translate arabic words into kurdish words and invent kurdish for those words which have not equivalent word in our language, that is why I thing that only 5% of our language is composed of arabic words,, but in terms of person names, we have enormous arabic/islamic firstnames !
Wow I just love your video it was so good 😊❤ l am such a fan 🎉 thanks 😂happy holidays 🎉
Thank you. This is the best lesson on the pronunciation of Urdu Lphabet. Shukriya.
الحمد لله اغلب الحروف سهلة النطق بالنسبة لي لأن اصلي عربي واتعلم اردو😅
Thank you.
From India 🇮🇳
Urdu is ultimately an Indian language but our government is not doing anything to promote it.
It’s better for Indians to learn Urdu from a young age. Learning Urdu script will open up Persian and Arabic for Indians. Hindi can remain official language but I just feel that Indians aren’t really taking advantage of being capable of learning Arabic and Persian quickly if they ever needed to.
@BTOMBRANDbaby Not similar but almost the same.
As an Indian, i would have no problems in understanding a pakistani and he wouldn't have any problems in understanding me.
The only difference is in the script.
Hindi is written in the devangari script and Urdu is written in the perso Arabic script.
Urdu is a Pakistani language NOT Indian.
@@rameenadil6143 educate yourself honey
@@little_swallow I don't know about India but Urdu is the national language of Pakistan
Why promote? Urdu is widely spoken in Pakistan, while India promotes Hindi.
Also, North Indians do promote Urdu literature, they love it.

I am a Muslim learning Urdu, because I want to go to the countries and talk with people when I’m older
Yeaa same but it's easier for me cuz ik hindi and Arabic, I guess I'll learn faster.........How is your learning going?
inshallah you will
Urdu and Hindi alphabets frustrate me because there are so many letters that sound the same.
I was surprised when learning Arabic that it was easier than i expected.
well, the letters that sound the same in the urdu actually sound diffrent in arabic, the sounds of these letters have fallen from urdu while staying in arabic, However since both languages use the same script you can learn the original way to spell those letters from arabic
so amazing video really helpfull and thankyou so much 😇
You really made my day
