Reggie to Greg was one of the greatest Aggie plays of all time...truly classic! I was sitting at that goal line and saw it live. That was a GREAT day at Kyle Field.
Lol great day, i remember here in San Antonio, the next days newspaper the San Antonio Express, on the front page was this game with the title "McNIFICENT!"
I was at this game. I was 12 and the McNeal Rainbow to porter is a core memory for me. I remember the ball seemed to go a mile high to me. It was EPIC.
Lot of people forget this, but Oklahoma was briefly actually #1 in AP/BCS polls going into this game after. This was the same day as Holy Buckeye. OU was the only possibility to upset the Miami/Ohio State apple cart. Reggie did his thing and the rest was history.
Mane hold up! Reggie McNeal was supposed to be Vince Youngs rival, UT vs A&M was gonna be the game with these Texas high school QB legends for the next 3, 4 years but a shame Reggie didnt live up to the hype like VY did
I went to every Aggie football game at home and within the bordering states from the time I was 3 until I was 30, and this was the best I ever saw. The church that said let him play and finally we got to see him play. my opinion Reggie McNeil is the best quarterback the Aggies have ever had with the exception of Johnny manziel. Not taking anything away from Bucky Richardson because he was awesome and very fun to watch, but talent wise, Reggie McNeil is it. Rocket arm and rocket legs. Gig em
Reggie MCNEAL, he definitely had alot of hype coming out high school. Dave Campbells magazine had McNeal the #1 QB in Texas, ahead of Vince Young. Unfortunately McNeal didn't live up to the hype and pressure, and the supposedly Texas/Young vs A&M/McNeal rivalry that was supposed to be good for the next 3, 4 years was all Lonhgorns dominating the Aggies lol

What a win that was for Texas A&M. That upset was the difference maker for Miami and Ohio State as far as the BCS rankings goes.

Same. Was there in the Zone, great catch by Porter!

Supporting cast had a lot to do with that. We got some players but no depth.
if we had left RC alone...reggie would have been what he was supposed to be
Reggie was the fastest guy on the team as a true freshman. 🤯
Games like this are why nobody could take OU seriously when they had Nate Hybl.
Terrible Qb. Hated that guy no passion, fire nothing very inconsistant.

Stoops looked like he wanted to cry after this loss. Beaten by a freshman in his first game.
It didn't go quite as well in 2003
Oh boy did big game Bob bring the pain the next year
As a 6 year old Oklahoma fan this is the first loss I ever remember us taking. it hurt so bad but 77-0 the next year made me feel better
The last time the wrecking crew has been seen
What a rigged and thrown game smh.
Ou should’ve beat them ou would’ve had a natty that year
Sickening that 2002, 2003, 2004 didn't produce one
