Thanks Chuck for the update! Still love going back and watching your older videos. Most recently, I re-watched the hard wiring of the radar detector and it really made the install easy!! Thanks again for everything and safe travels out there on the open road!!
Good day Chuck; glad to know that all is well, with you and your loved ones; wishing you the best, as you move forward, and may God continue to Bless you, and your loved ones !
Chuck, you are absolutely correct! The reason people were drawn to your channel wasn't about the Corvettes. It was YOU that kept the viewers coming back to watch! You have a special talent sir that is truly inspirational! I know that no matter what you set your mind to you will be successful at it, and the best part.... Your going to take us along for the RIDE! Pardon the pun. I for one have truly enjoyed your uplifting talks with us and I will continue to check in on your new channel ! East bound and down.....Lets Roll! Pete Pellerito 🖐🖐🖐👋👍
As the C8 releases, I can't help to think of you and your family. I hope you are doing well. Know that you and your videos are missed! Wishing you and your family the best! Much love!
Good for you, follow your dreams. I was a OTR trucker for many years. Always over sized loads escorted most of the time. Once you get trucking in the blood it never goes away. Thanks for your knowledge on corvettes and all the other words you passed along. Best of luck as they use to say keep the shiny side up the big between the trees and the little one between the knees.
Not bad man! My dad is a trucker... wasn’t his life goal, but things got tough and fell into it. Been doing it for the last 8 years and he actually really likes his job. Word of advice: make sure you find a way to stay healthy on the road. Pack healthy food... drink plenty of water, do some simple workouts between your stops. Don’t get used to eating chips and candy etc. I work in medical field and I unfortunately see many with health ailments due to poor diets, smoking, lack of exercise all due to being in the truck all day Good luck brother on the adventure man!
It's good to see that everything is good Chuck I prayed for you the whole time you've been gone I knew that you would cross paths with your Corvette family sooner or later. I'm just glad to see that you're ok. The only thing that matters in life is your family and your health. I look forward to following you on the new channel God bless you Chuck
Thank you for bringing us all up to speed on your situation Chuck, I really appreciate it! This news blows my mind but, I think you should do whatever makes you happy and whatever is best for your family! I’ll come over to your new channel and check it out for sure! 😊
very inspiring, I give you lots of respect. Been following you since I bought my first Corvette. When you said hustle and get debt free so we won't be bounded or slave to our jobs, that's where you got my attention... Don't always want to change, but you motivate me to change !!! Good video sir, life sure is short, make the best out it because we only live once... , thank you.
Wish you all the very best Chuck in your future endeavors. You are truly missed in the Vette world, but you will always hold a special place among all Vette owners. It's because of you and all your tips and guidance that I have a Z06. Thank you and again all the best. Hope to see you back one day
Chuck, you’re a stand up guy... a Mensch!!! Met you through 918 last summer when I bought my Z51. You struck a cord during that exciting time. Thanks for all you’ve done for the Corvette community. Ohhhh.... one more thing... Heck yeah, gonna follow you through your next journey in trucking. Do it right, Amigo! Enjoy the journey!
Chuck hope you and family are doing wel, really miss your corvette content, seems as if you were the only one of a kind! No one else shows adding accessories, taking care of their cars, or going on trips with their clubs. Miss your content !!
Chuck, I started following your channel a little over a year ago now. I remember in all your videos you mention that we were your family and I never really quite experienced it until today. You are truly an amazing individual and I am so proud of everything you do. You inspire so many people with your videos including me and I truly appreciate you taking time out of your day to share this with us because I know for a fact it wasn’t easy to do. You genuinely are the kindest and down to Earth person I know and after watching this video today, I do feel like I am part of your family. I missed you Sir. Good luck on your future endeavors! My goal is to one day meet up with you at a corvette meet up or something. I am graduating with my bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from OU here in a few days and will be moving to Plano to work as a Field Engineer and even though I am moving further away, Cheers to meeting soon!
Chuck. I wish you well in your new venture. OTR trucking is a very difficult job, you're away from your family, you're dealing with weather, you're dealing with other drivers. It's a big change. I wish you much happiness and success in your new venture. Looking forward to coming along for the ride!
Fabulous to hear from you! I am pleased that you and your family are in a position in which you can get up and take that leap you've sought. I look forward to seeing some wonderful images of this country through your eyes. We may even see some beautiful Corvettes. 👍
Hate to see this channel go but definitely looking forward to the new channel. I enjoyed your openness, your enthusiasm and of course, your corvette. Be blessed!!
Chuck, I am so glad to have heard from you where you have been. I was thrilled when you first came back and then you quickly disappeared again after ordering your new Vette. Your videos and warm karma made such a difference to my joy in beginning my Corvette journey 18 months ago. I learned so much from you and have enjoyed my Vette more because of you. I have subscribed to your new channel to stay in touch with someone I consider a friend, even though we have never met. I wish nothing but the best for you and your family in this new professional journey.
I run a small trucking on the west coast...Running about 40 trucks...It's a good business that needs lot of hard working people...Welcome to the industry...
God bless you Chuck and best of luck in your new career. I started out following your channel because of the Corvettes, now I’ll continue falling your new channel because of you. Take care buddy!!!
Good to hear from you, Chuck. Also glad to know everything is ok with you in your life. Life always goes in crazy ways and directions, you never know where you are guided through life and whatbis in store for you.
CHUCK!!!!!!! So glad to see you're still around!!! I was hoping that you and the family were ok. The one thing about this vlog thing is that when you like someone and follow them and they vanish you truly feel like you've lost a friend or family member. Good luck with the new trucking thing and feel free to keep mentioning Corvettes from time to time!!! Peace!!
I wish you well on your new endeavor. You're a class act and I'll be there with you. I have always been infatuated by big trucks so you might sell me on the idea. I too just left a job of 15 yrs just to change and start something fresh so I know it takes bravery and perseverance. Look forward to continue following you Chuck.
Corvette 918. Hey man. Welcome to the truckers life. I’ve been out here for over 20yrs. Welcome brother. And I just yesterday bought my first corvette zo6. I fell in love with the black mamba. Mine looks just like it. Best of luck with everything. Great message in this video. Work hard. Enjoy life.
Wow I was like a kid in the candy store when I seen the 918 reminder pop up. Started watching you due to the corvettes, then I watched more due to you and your honesty and sincerity. I wish you well in your new endeavors, but that time away from family will be tough. I will certainly miss you talking about corvettes and the vet club adventures, but I have already subscribed to your new channel to see how things go for you in the trucking business. Good Luck and God Bless you.
May God Bless you Chuck in your new professional path. Hopefully you’ll surprise us with a new Corvette on this channel once you’re settled in your Trucking job.
...the most rewarding job is the one that you like...I'm a retired letter carrier, but I still work because it is important to keep the body and mind busy...I have always enjoyed your channel...best of luck to you and your family, Chuck...PS...May you never lose your enthusiasm for America's Sportscar...be good to yourselves because life is short...GOD BLESS YOU...
Good luck chuck! Wish you nothing but the best! I’m a truck driver myself and I’m 23 years old and I love it. I’m pretty sure you will adapt just fine to this career! 👍🏼
Thank you Chuck for sharing a bit of your personal life with your Vette audience. Like others I wish you and your family the very best in your lives. Someday please consider coming back to us on this Corvettes 918 platform to speak about our passion for driving the ultimate American sports car! May God bless you with good health and happiness Chuck. John & Josie.
I was watching Rick's channel this morning and reminiscing about when you (and him) were just pumping off awesome content. You had the black mamba and were putting out awesome videos all the time. I miss that, but I'll always be grateful for you and the vids. Your vids pushed me to get back into a corvette and I'll always be grateful for that! Best of luck to you in your new adventures Chuck. You know I'm gonna follow along
Good luck ! I’m an OTR trucker for the last 7 years. I’m 42 year old, I’m doing the HHG (house hold goods or in the easy name : moving) Not easy but pays way more than the regular freight drivers. Good luck !
Thanks Chuck for your explanation. Not that it was anyone’s business but the 918 family was really concerned. Nice to know everything is ok and that you’re ready to make a lifestyle change. I’ve signed on to the new channel and if I weren’t already retired I’d consider doing trucking myself. It was great meeting you last summer in KC and hopefully after some time you’ll get back behind the wheel of America’s Greatest Sports Car. Looking forward to your new content. Best wishes and safe driving.
As a fellow Oklahoman and 12 yr local truck driver, I'll throw a little insight your way on trucking. I'm sure you've done your research but you don't have to go OTR to get into trucking. I've never been OTR since I started driving from day one. You can go to a truck driving school to learn the basics and then go grab a local job around tulsa. There are tons of companies in your area that aren't OTR.
Good to see you and glad to hear you are doing well. We were worried about you! We Corvette owners/lovers are going to miss that content. I’m not a trucker but it might be interesting to follow one!
All your advice is solid my man... you got to do you. I have always had a passion for the nomad or road warrior lifestyle. I have moved approx 35-40 times. I am a lot like you, you don't do it for the money soley... you do it because you have a passion for it. Glad you are moving on! I could have retired years ago... but stagnant water.... it isn't the same as flowing water.
Well Chuck it was a heck of a run. Very informative and uplifting. Thank you for all you did for us Corvette lovers. Definitely gonna follow you on the next journey!!!! Best of luck out there on that road.
Chuck, one statement u made stood out beyond any other statement & that was you have never been away from your family. Heed the advice of a now USAF retired veteran. I gave 20 years of my life performing a service to the country that I love. While I volunteered to serve & would do it again, my family paid the supreme price. I can't tell you of times that I received tear stained letters from my wife when I was serving the overseas listing the problems that had cropped up. Mind u my military time was during the pre internet era, so to your advantage you will be able to make face to face contact. I listened intently to your video, if money is not an issue then please don't make your family suffer the separation that my family endured during my absence. Do I get a military pension, yes. I thank the man upstairs that I made thru 20yrs of military service & have 10 fingers& 10 toes. I will close, but u are truly at a the career change cross road my friend. Since u have a business background check out selling AFLAC they make really good $$$$$. If u want to own another business, but different from what you were doing, check out Snap On, Mac, Cromwell or one of the other tool businesses. I wanted to do that when I retired from the USAF but I could not come up with the cash on my part. U are a family man Chuck, I really don't think u will be happy as a trucker nor will your wife be happy either. Good luck in your decision!!!!! Just remember Chuck, , u can't get a redo on the things your 15 year old is going to experience during the next few years. If he or she is is into sports, I say no more. Regardless if your child develops into a star athlete in highschool & beyond. U can't get that time back Chuck!!!!! Paul Britt
Chuck I subscribed to your channel right when I clicked on the video and I’m completely with you man your dedication to UA-cam and your channel is amazing I know that it must be hard to sale two of the most amazing corvettes I’ve ever seen but it’s not a necessity to have. My dad has a 2011 grand sport and is looking to buy another but he is 65 and he’s still working as a doctor and I hope that you may be able to get back in to the “Corvette Life” but I totally support your decision
God Bless You Chuck. This world needs all the Inspirational Wisdom you are willing to pass on. You are beyond Bless. Thanks for sharing. Hope to cross paths someday. “Live The Faith - Lift High The Cross- Thanks Be To God”.
Great seeing you Chuck , trucking is an industry that keeps america rolling ( and their is a huge shortage of qualified drivers ) . Prime is a very good company ( my company uses them quite a bit ) . Be safe and continue to enjoy life . Thank you and look forward to following you on the new site , tulsa trucker .
I have a 99 c5 corvette and it’s giving off plenty of heat on the inside as if I have the heater on.. can you tell me how can I fix the issue.. also it gives off a lot of heat outside the car u can’t stand by it in the front
Good luck in your new adventure. Take us to some cool places Chuck... just like a travel vlog. I'm a Merchant Marine and know what it's like to be away from family for long periods of time. You're 100% right to enjoy each and every moment. Good luck! We'll see you on the other channel.
Good luck to you with your new venture!!! I have been in the svc business all my life and we started Preferred Alarms 10 years ago and today we are still going 10 years strong. Love what you do, live life to the fullest and take care of family and friends. Tomorrow is never guaranteed. I will subscribe to your new channel bud. Take Care and Be Safe!!!

Hey Chuck...Bob from Virginia here. Again hate to see you go again but a Man has got to do what works best for his Family. Really, nothing else matters. I have to admit I have watched most of your videos and they helped me get back into the Vette hobby so I want to personally THANK YOU. I’ll see you on the new channel but sincerely hope you find time to jump back on the Corvette channel when yours comes in. God Bless Brother Bob
Man God bless you. You know ive been driving 21 years. I actually own my own truck. Chuck you know you dont have to run all over the country, Especially in your situation. If you go to a truck driving school you will have more options to pick a chose a company to drive for. Some school even offer grants from the government. Glad to see you man. You can always dm me anytime.
God bless you and yours Chuck! Have enjoyed your vlogs from day one. Owned a service company for 30 years, and I know what your saying. Wish you the best of life, and I'll be watching. BTW Bought my first corvette after watching Corvette 918. Love and agree to every message on your wall behind you.
Good to hear from you Chuck. I finally got my Z06 and I want to thank you for your help with the selections. I took your advice and got the manual transmission and carbon ceramic breaks. Best advice ever. Looking forward to your C8 build.
Chuck been with the channel since the Black Mamba. I wish you and your family the best in all of your future endeavors. I will stay with this channel because I have a feeling that you'll come back in the future with an announcement in this likes of "I got a 20xx C8 Z06!". Best of luck sir 😎👍👌
Chuck,I always look forward to your videos,I plan to follow you on your next journey, I'm sure it will be entertaining, your very inspirational ,hope we can join again in the Corvette world, take care my friend
applejacks971 I was meaning there’s more money in lowboy, flatbed, tanker, lift gate etc vs something like dry/reefer van otr. Usually those guys are least paid if you average time worked. It’s the least laborious and least paying.
Thanks Chuck. Was wondering how you were doing. Great words of advice. Be safe out there and we will follow along. If you get down to Ft Worth give me a holler. Really enjoyed the Corvettes 918 channel, learned a ton. Thank you.
I joined the military at 20 years old, retired at 40 , then worked DOD for 10 years and retired! My Dad Drove a Truck for over 50 years! get with a good company ! you will do good!
Chuck, glad to see you are back, wish you and your family the best in life. Love going back over the videos you have produced. No doubt you have a talent for video production. Good luck with all that you pursue, God Bless 😁
"I HEAR A BIG TRUCK." Chuck been in the business for 15 years. Started with Schneider National in early 2004. In 2011 moved to K&B Transportation. It's the best move I've made. I can't wait to run into you somewhere out here.
always with ya bro, you ARE awesome, wish you the best and thank-you so much for your support and friendship!
Rick, it might be nice for you to get together with Chuck.
Thanks Chuck for the update! Still love going back and watching your older videos. Most recently, I re-watched the hard wiring of the radar detector and it really made the install easy!! Thanks again for everything and safe travels out there on the open road!!

They say we buy a Vette when we have a mid life crisis.
Not sell our Vette and go into trucking. 🤪
You should be a minister or motivational speaker
Chuck,

I already asked him about that LOL
Well Chuck it was a heck of a run. Very informative and uplifting. Thank you for all you did for us Corvette lovers. Definitely gonna follow you on the next journey!!!! Best of luck out there on that road.
Good to see you again and hear about rest of the story and your new career which happens to be one I wish I were young enough to try myself.
Good luck Chuck! Have a good life in whatever you choose to do.

Regardless if your child develops into a star athlete in highschool & beyond. U can't get that time back Chuck!!!!!

Good Luck Chuck.. Definitely understand where you are coming from with this video. I'll follow your journey on the trucker side.

If you go to a truck driving school you will have more options to pick a chose a company to drive for. Some school even offer grants from the government. Glad to see you man. No money in trucking at all. And I have had a CDL for 15 years.
Boss_Hoss _Cigars there’s no money in trucking, if you are bumping docks.
@@Pistolpete218 If you're not 'bumping docks', you're not loading and unloading
applejacks971 I was meaning there’s more money in lowboy, flatbed, tanker, lift gate etc vs something like dry/reefer van otr. Usually those guys are least paid if you average time worked. It’s the least laborious and least paying.
Make 90 grand a year with old dominion. Home every day. That's the first year. Love my job. Good luck. Really enjoyed your content.
@@stanleybeachner4212 old post I know. But give me a break dude ! Isn't old dom union? Yeah been there done that! Lol
Count me in Chuck! And yes. You only live once, and if you do it right, once is enough. Looking forward to you new vlog.
