Is there a key you can press to quick cast or normal cast an ability for certain situations? I've noticed some inconsistent behaviour for area effect spells when the mouse is outside the range - sometimes the character runs forward.
yeah you are correct, sometimes different abilities make the champ move up into range before the ability goes off. You can choose to quick cast only certain abilities if you wish, in the same menu i showed in the video. just click the arrow icon under each spell you wish to quick cast, and leave it off for each spell you'd like to normal cast.
can somoene help me please. When i have the normal cast on spells cannot be triggered. FOr example I click on Viego's q and I get the indicator but when I click q again, nothing happens? wtf?
not sure if you're still experiencing this issue, but it might just be a bug in the client. try unselecting quick cast all, closing the menu, and then opening it back up and reselecting.
What are your thoughts on Quick Cast with indicators?

I recently watched another video that recommended turning off quick casting for wards, and it confused me because the ward placement didn't look any different compared to what I had in game. I'm guessing now that it's assumed knowledge that you play with quick casting turned on.
Interesting, likely because if you don't quick cast your wards, maybe you can get a more exact placement? honestly after playing a bunch of Jax and Lee Sin, i got too used to quick casting my wards for jumps :)
@@TiltShades They were saying that the benefit was you could see the exact vision range of the ward. I would imagine that that wouldn't be needed after practice.

So in quick cast I cannot cancel my skill anymore?
unfortunately not, it's going to cast as soon as you press the key binding

help i wanna play zeri but want to use qucikcast on q only . not all her abilities but quickcast makes all abilities qucikcast which i dont want , just her q only . how do i do that ?
when you open the menu to select quick cast all, instead of checking that option, you can simply click the arrow icon under each ability you want to quick cast instead :)
@@TiltShades doesnt work , comes with binding , says select key to bind/unbind
@@simpleshebang308 hmm, it should work, just select normal cast all button, then click the arrows under the keys you want to quick cast only.

I never knew about this because my game auto set it to quick cast spells. Now I know why new players are so bad but even when I was a new player, I never thought about left clicking the ability and the target,
nice, lucky you started off with it auto set to quick cast, ahead of the pack!
