I'm a Wings fan, and every time we play them, I can't stand them. But as soon as the next day comes, and they are off to play another team, I always find myself rooting for them. I am a sucker for underdogs. I felt the same about Evander Kane, Yeah he's had his struggles, but he really got dragged by his crazy ex wife, he went from being "exposed" online, to silently taking her to court, in the state of California, and gain custody of his children, in the most shocking states of all. And then he joined the Oilers, and completely popped off, and was right next to McDavid in being one of the key guys in their playoff run. I really do want this man to win a cup, he's very humble, and most certainly deserves it. He's an exceptional hockey player, and I've played competitive hockey in Juniors, and never made it a step further, but his shot is really something to drool over. Big ups Matthews.

You guys are all really naïve and gullible. No player with any type of high end skill is looking to go to Arizona. Laughable that any of you would think a guy like Auston who loves the spot light, would entertain the idea of getting lost in the desert. Not to mention he will be signed long before he becomes a free agent. If anything he will be thinking about the statue they will put out front of him.

These guys make it seems like it's such a toll on the players to have a full media day... they get paid an absurd amount of money to do this stuff lol if they have a problem with this then they can suck it up!
Actually they don't get paid for this, it's part of their contracts with the team. My buddy has done many media interviews over the years for the teams he's played for.
