Is it viable to have a Bongo Drongo as a team member? Since it seems they're used for everything besides that, which is a shame because I love its design.
@HDHaZmY Will you make a video of all your favorite monsters, both design wise and utility wise? It will give me an idea of what to send to the main game, which will likely include Snowmangler and Hunter Mech.
@@HDHaZmY Awesome video, but there is one thing I'm still a bit confused about. That being synthesis... I played the modded joker 3 in English and I was fusing my monsters a lot but it didn't feel like they were getting stronger. Could you do a guide explaining in more depth how synthesis works (when thew full game launches of course) it would be really helpful not only to me but to other new players who don't get how important synthesis is in this game;.
Hopefully, there are rank specific tournaments to give lower rank monsters use through the whole game. Just imagine a competitive team that includes a Slime Stack or its chocolate varient.
Dqm is one of my favorite series, but one gripe I have is how they handle "ranks". Basically, a monster's "rank" doesnt really mean anything. Sure higher rank monsters have better stat growth but they also level up slower. So exp to stat ratios are pretty similar between higher and lower rank monsters. Which would be fine if it weren't for stat caps. Each monster has it's own max for each stat, and higher rank monsters do NOT generally have higher max stats. So the only advantage high rank monsters have(potentially gaining more stats by max level), is invalidated by their comparatively average max stats. In conclusion, when considering how difficult and time consuming it is to acquire most of the max rank monsters. Their overall power levels are far from being worth the effort. So just pick monsters who you like the look of, who have abilities which compliment each other, and repeatedly fuse them into themselves until they are stronger. Dont worry about ranks at all.
Equip XP ring x1,3 + XP ring x1.1 + super ball, chase the King Metal Slime (one can appear at times in one of the upper circles) = +1.100.000 XP every 20 minutes.
The best way to level up (as far as the demo goes) is to have synthesized 2 Briny Broncos (purple seahorse monster) with the Splash Virtuoso skill set. It has Splishmeister and Ultra Crafty Splasher as innate skills, which make their water damage alot. Fighting against the Green Dragon boss on the 3rd map, Kasplashle can deal up to 700 damage each time, so you can kill the dragon in 1 round because it's weak to water. If you have the Drain Dodger skill set maxed (which lets you get MP back after each cast), you won't even run out of MP doing this.
@@hawkalypse7329 I got it from synthesizing a Vegandragora with a Cyclown (found on map 1 spring summer and map 3 spring respectively), then I got the Splash Afficionado by combining it with a Toady (found on map 3) to get Splash Virtuoso after maxing the skill set. I got Drain Dodger off the Khalamari Kid on map 1.
I want carry over any monster, which can get a '?' locked Monster in a specific way. It should be rank E, bc the demo has 80 Monsters, enough to getting better ones :)
Could you make a guide on some of the best skill trees to spend points in early on? Im wondering if its worth it to invest in the Stat Boost skill trees like Str Boost 1 and Wis Boost 1 etc in order to fuse them into Str Boost 2 etc like in the old games
I am stuck trying to figure out how to beat rank F in the arena. I have already scouted everything there is to scout in the first area and synthesis is not yet unlocked. edit: third time was the charm. having komodo learning heal and then focusing on healing was very helpful. the large snake thing, flython, was giving me a hard time, but I finally got him.
I'm pretty sure that if you get X amount of minimedals you get a metal slime for free, then you can go for the DLC since it might unlock the Metal slime only. I still say that it's a theory... A game theory since they haven't confirmed yet if you can do that with the DLC of repeatable monsters which might be interesting if you could since metal liquid slimes are B or Below hopefully
@@TheRealNayxa the dlc thing has been a feature in previous games. Fighting the monsters you've already acquired doesn't give exp in those games. It's just to speed up anything.
@@DkDerek Still there's no mention of it soo I guess we will know when it comes out? If it works then it's a feature and not a guy who forgot to like... Code it into not giving EXP. Still no mention of it not granting EXP so it's 50/50
I gained exp by defeating the enemy monster in the mole hole, it seem in the mole hole you only fight 1 enemy than more than only 1 when you begin the fight by touching them to start the fight
Are you getting ready for DQM3 launch? Which Monsters are you planning to carry over?

Why not?! But we won't know for sure until launch!

Almost all monsters can already be synthesised to be quite strong - but that would be awesome!

Comment ça toutes les 20 minutes ? Il y a un moyen de contrôler l'aléatoire des apparitions ?

Im honestly gonna play this game so much i loved the game boy color game dragon warrior monsters! How hard do you think competitive is gonna be?
It's hard to say for now - if it's going to be global, probably really hard considering Japan takes it VERY seriously!

Hey ! Thanks for covering the game. Looking forward to a comprehensive video about the synth mechanics
The third zone will definitely change because it feels so empty currently compared to the first and second zones.
I have finally finished my Dragon Quest 1 & 2 TEAM…. DRAGONLORD… TRUE DRAGONLORR, HARGON, MALROTH… FULL IV BOOSTS…. yuzu squad lets go
This video is no help at all thank you for nothing😢
How about finding where the metal slimes are at?
Metal Slimes can be very random - though a Hunter Mech would certainly help! We won't know until it's here!
I’m having issues finding the snow mangler in the demo. 😫
Dang, 2 weeks has made this insanely outdated.
Already new guide available for midgame
to bad the level and status of the monster will not get put inn the full game
is there monster trading in this game or not?
Did we get final confirmation on which monsters transfer from demo? Just in your party/reserve, or also roster? 😥
Only the 8 in your party
@@HDHaZmYaw man wtf
When will the leveling guide for the full game come out?

Those zones don't give experience. If it's similar to kismet keys from the 3ds remakes.
