    I'd probably give up almost everything but my firstborn to have a voice like Mr. Cole.

      One of the only singers to be better live than on recordings.

    I still can’t believe 3 guys created that sound..I remember my brother and I saw this because out dad recorded it on a VHS and it was in the mix with a bunch of MTV videos he also recorded. We use to poke fun’s at his facial expressions because we were like 7 or 8 age range…but deep inside we both loved it and it actually was one reason that inspired me to want to play music…although we didn’t do that kind of stuff…more like punk and grunge lol…it was still there

      Oscar Moore was the guitarist for 10 years until 1947. This song was number 1 in 1946. The link by Beth Perry says Nat Cole trio 1950 to '52 with Irving Ashby. This video may be from that 2d trio with Ashby but the original is Oscar Moore, a most fabulous guitarist.

      Irving Ashby per the credits www.discogs.com/Nat-King-Cole-The-Snader-Telescriptions-1950-1952/release/11621285

      Oscar Moore was indeed the original trio guitarist when this was the number 1 song in 1946. Moore left the trio after 10 years in1947 to be replaced by Irving Ashby.

  • @abodao
    @abodao 11 років тому +4

    Does anyone know Nat's guitarist on this song and video?

    • @kevincorr2985
      @kevincorr2985 4 роки тому +1

      Irving Ashby. The confusion is because the original Trio Guitarist for 10 years was Oscar Moore who left in 1947. Irving Ashby took over his place. The original number 1 hit was with Moore, but this concert was later with Ashby.
