First of all this is your job. This is not Daddy Day Care. The kid wasn't even 18 and why wasn't he at school where all the other kids were supposed to be. When I worked at a Convention Center I didn't see my coworkers bring their kids to work very often, b/c its not a daycare or playground for kids to be around adults all day

Imagine how much that sucked to have gotten to the MLB only to have it feel like day camp with this dope and his kid.

Money does not buy the love for a son

+Eric Mesias Thats not the point. He has a job to do. Hardly any parent in America brings their kids to work every single day. Thats ridiuolous. Its too fucking much. It was affecting the team.

Is that kid getting an education? Yeah, life lessons are good in the summer months. But, school is important too. You creepy, LaRoche.

Your company operates a company in which millions and millions of dollars are on the line mangers gms and front office people get fired frequently without showing improvement. If your boss doesn't want your kid at work, that's obvious cause he doesn't belong there anyway. He's you're kid I hate people who don't get that to everybody else he's an akward in the way watch what you say and do annoyance, but u r so selfish I'm so glad he's gone. I wanna bring my kid to work

This must be a southern thing, because I'm from the south and if I had a son and had a job like LaRoche, I'd bring my son to work everyday. This kid was working for free and doing odd jobs. It's not like he needed a babysitter or he was running around the facility with his hair on fire?
LaRoche probably has a networth of $60 million so he doesn't have to worry about money, and there are several teams that would pick him up even with a contract payout.

Cash4gold 24 Apparently you're not familiar with the story because he only brought his son with him during the summer months.
Because they don't play baseball during fall and winter.

He said his son was his "best friend." He's supposed to be his kid's parent, not his friend. And he's not setting a good example for his son or his family. I am also a Christian and I think it was a bad witness on his part to be so selfish and stubborn.
His son is probably home schooled during the day before going to the park. But considering how early ballplayers have to be at the park before a game and how late things go every night, I wonder how much time it left for his education.
I think it's great that Adam LaRoche got involved in fighting against human trafficking/enslavement. But if he had stuck out the last six months and done what he was told to do, he could have had $13 million more he could have used for his family and/or his rescue operations. Bad move.
