I really like the Easter egg in episode 3. - It clearly explains why Xiaoning’s parents easily agreed with the shotgun wedding. This was not because they didn’t care or loved Xiaoning enough but because they had already known the man in front of them was definitely the one they can entrust their daughter to. - It also shows that Xiaoning’s parents really love their daughter, and always respect her decisions. - Last, it tells us how sincere and steadfast Yuheng’s love to Xiaoning. He just didn’t passively wait for Xiaoning to say yes. He paid a visit to her parents and make an effort to show them his sincerity to their daughter. Yuheng was determined to be Xiaoning’s husband 😃
