Great explanation on torque, horsepower and dynos. That good I had to come back months later to listen again 😀

The reason it's a percentage is because the more power flowing through these parts the more that's wasted. Example, If you was to pump 100 volts down a wire a couple of watts would be wasted, if you put 10000 volts down the same wire a couple of hundred watts would be wasted.

Ohms law is completely different where V=IR... The voltage grows linear with the amount of current... so the higher the current.. the higher the voltage... but as all formulae... your require a constant for comparative measure... in comes the R... resistance. The moment you change this... is the moment you can not compare two outputs... in theory.. if we all use the variable constant without physical change we will be in a comparative mess...
Yes some heat may increase parasitic loss... but not so much as 100hp difference.. that is the point here.

@@NVMotorsportUK yeah I agree it's completely different but it was the simplest way for me to explain how It made sense in my head, confuses the fuck outta me to be honest😂 but I'll take your word for it brother, thanks for taking your time to explain I really appreciate it man.
Gettin rid of my 240i in 6 months an getting a cupra so I'll be down to NVM for a stage 2😎👊🏽
