I think one of the easiest, and quickest improvements you could make would be to remove the drop ceiling if possible, remove the florescent lights and maybe put some nice LED track lighting around the ceiling to aim at the shelves and cases. A more comprehensive, and much more expensive option, would be to buy or build glass cases instead of shelves for each of the sections of the room. Then you could add LED lights right into the cases and that would look sharp. Regardless, awesome collection and it's impressive!
It was my pleasure especially for a fellow collector, and thanks for the shout out! I did have another Clone Commander Obi-Wan, but I traded him along with a bunch of other figures like two Carbonized Mandos for example and some cash for a Jabba's Sail Barge, and just this week my wife had in her hands two Funko Pop General Grievous and she asked me if I wanted them I told her no and now I kicking myself in a**!! As you know they are way over priced on ebay. I told her next just ignore my stupid a** and just get it. But I'm glad you're enjoying it. AND VERY IMPRESSIVE COLLECTION!!!
Thanks for sharing your awesome collection and kudos on your videos, I really enjoy your insights and your suggestions on collectibles, they help a lot and make collecting a whole lot more enjoyable. Keep up the great job. Thanks.
Great collection and I was a senior 20 years ago too. We were downtown for the day after prom and we were shopping in Chicago. We went into a toy store and I bought myself a Vader action figure and had to carry it around with me too. Nice collection and thanks for sharing.
Your Star Wars collection looks really great! It's good to see all the items being nicely displayed :) This also gave me some ideas to change in my own collection XD
I have had to narrow my collection down to Prequel Star Wars stuff only. The wife and I both grew up watching these so were excited to get all we can of Episodes 1,2 and my favorite 3. Awesome video btw
Yeah, this is my second time using pegboard and metal hooks. Agreed, I can have multiple rows, but as I sold off some of my figures and random collection I started to display in one row to be able to see everything. I was running out of room, so moved the items I didn't really have a strong connection with.
Always fun to see other people’s collections and too see so many items I’ve missed or sold off over time I have so much stuff again just in boxes and wish I had the space to put it all out You are a lucky guy to have this much room and I definitely enjoyed seeing it all
Thanks for sharing your collection! While I am more of a Marvel/DC collector than SW [and more of a "loose-figure" collecting guy, due to wanting to put them in action poses], it's cool to see the breadth and variety of figures you own from the different SW lines over the years. Also appreciate you giving the sequel figures some love (regardless of anyone's particular love/hate for the movies). I'm really enjoying the tips and stuff I'm learning about collecting and displaying from your channel!
Holy crap balls you have a nice collection! Your wall of 3 3/4 inch Star Wars figures is breathtaking. I only have a small handful, so I'm very jealous! But like in a good way.
It's good you're no longer a completionist for a few reasons. 1.) You save money 2.) It sends a message to hasbro of what fans really want by what sells or doesn't sell. 3.) It frees up more room in your collection for worthy future purchases. 4.) It makes your collection more personalized and unique by only buying what speaks to you.
Great collection bro, good displaying but I would offer a few suggestions... #1 GET MORE 12 INCH/1:6 Scale/Sideshow/Hot Toys etc!!! #2 That huge glass display (at least the top two shelves) deserve more stuff on them and maybe your rarer stuff! #3 If your gona keep 99% on card and dedicate all that valuable space I would probably sell some of the more generic figures and put them towards some original vintage Kenner pcs, collecting the entire set loose would look AMAZING in that display cabinet 🔥 Great job and keep it up though bro. P.S. Yes, those wall mounted shelves could be narrower, will really clean up the look and have it looking way more sharp 💯💯
(Smiling): I also have an unopened FAO Schwartz exclusive you pointed out. I’m the original owner. Around that time I also purchased a ceramic Darth Vader bust from the Fossil store, with wrist watch holder, and a Fossil brand watch inside it.
I think it is really hard to display a collection this big in such a nice way. You accomplished just that! I love how organized it is. I moved a year ago and currently my collection resides in storage bins. You inspired me to look into displaying it again. Might post an updated collection vid once I get it all displayed.
Holy shit man, that's some SERIOUS Star Wars collection. Long comment warning! I had just a few black series and I sold em all, I'm restarting my collection with the new mandalorian speeder bike and hope to get a lot more figures! Personally I don't want a collection this huge, what I like is to match figures for display! (for example, making the sinester six, the avengers, fight scenes etc)
man this is suck a cool collection you have. i got some nostalgia just seeing 2005 star wars packaging and the others next to it. this is just such a awesome figures you have. i even forgot they made lile small unposable statues. im just stunned right now.
Hey Manny-thank you for the comment. I’ve been waiting for a space like this for years to display everything. I actually have thought about digging out the rest of my basement one day for more room. You’re right it brings back so many great memories of these toy lines and even where I was in life when I bought them. Thank you for watching.
@@Nerdzoic you're welcome and I love your videos. It just popped up at random when I was cleaning and I'm happy it did. I hope you find more space for your other sets and I hope you keep making more fun videos in the future. Stay awesome as you are
Hey Joe-thank you for watching. Yeah it took a while to eventually have the space to display everything. When we were looking to move a basement was a must just for this purpose. I find my 3yo daughter downstairs playing with the falcon. Love it.
Funny, that's exactly how I collect Black Series as well... I just buy what appeals to me and what I like. I don't really buy 'must haves' or anything like that. There's just so many figures; I need to impose some order and rules on how I collect. I actually collect 1:6 (mostly Hot Toys) and some 1:12 but I recently been looking to pivot more toward 1:12 since I'm getting a little disillusioned with collecting 1:6 scale. Great video, keep it up!
I bought them off of Amazon. The exact ones are currently not listed on their website, but the description was listed as a Funko Pop, Cupcake, Action Figure tiered display. I bet you can find another similar type on Amazon or anywhere online.
Nice tour! Where do you get your cases for the figures like the 40th anniversary corner? Also, I see you had pegboard up for a few areas. Have you heard of Wall Control? Its a metal pegboard system with adjustable shelving and pegs for holding figures. A bit pricey but it looks really nice and seems durable.
I will have to checkout wall control when I do my next major makeover! Those cases are from www.figureshield.com/. They are a bit pricey but VERY high quality.
Matt. I freakin' love your content! It's funny as you started making video's about a month before me! Keep it up! I'm pretty jealous about your figures ;)
Impressive- I sold all my Star Wars stuff - just got burnt out and too much stuff to keep up with.... never had Ninja Turtles -- I have sold my entire collection 3 times ... otherwise I would end up taking up other rooms.... someday I’ll sell my current collection... thanks for sharing
Dude, awesome collection! I laughed a little when you said you were having problems with the reflection on the Black Series figures, since all my videos lately have been on my figure collection. I was like, "Yes! Someone who feels my pain!" Loved the video!
Dang, that's awesome. Be more awesome if I was in the Star Wars collecting more. That just to Broad Splash too much junk to me. I'm very selective with my Star Wars collecting. Should do a video on my collection which is quite large and buried Perry. From Transformers, the biggest portion, too NECA, Ghostbusters, He-Man, kotobukiya, Marvel Legends, and selected Star Trek stuff stop. Most are in boxes, especially after a house fire that wiped out a quarter of it.. Been replaced a little by little. Too big to display. Cool displaying of your stuff. Might look up a few of those Star Wars figures that look unique. Most of it is not unique to me .. just fluff to me, like much of my stuff would be to others I'm guessing.. To each her own
Insane 3.75 collection man! Ya, I’d try some LED lights. I’m sure you’re partial to keeping things in boxes, but if u wanna add some depth try to open some of the bigger pieces to try and take away from the “store” look. But it’s all personal preference. Wicked collection dude!
Nice to see your huge collection! I could not refrain from opening so many boxes. Curently i'm re-organizing my collection, so far I am quite pleased with it, but I'm having a bit of trouble planning where toi put the next 100+ items I plan o getting, and that´s just announced stuff coming later in the year, hahaha.

Display some black series open they’re like a work of art!
The carbon freezing set is vintage collection.
Find how you would display the figs then the staues and get a self you could make it or just pay someone to
