It was so unexpectedly difficult I can still barely believe it, I had to learn so much new stuff from scratch for this - mainly work on runs, which are plenty here and at which I honestly suck(ed) lol
That's probably why it took so long. And there are QUITE a few other parts which forced me to redo takes... probably hundreds of times, I must have played the entire thing at least a thousand times at this point. And it still isn't perfect but this is the closest I've gotten and I'm pretty happy with it all things considered :')
I am very tempted to put in subtitles to share which parts made me suffer most

This one was a rollercoaster, I don't know what the whole starlight thing is but it was honestly just fun to listen to. I loved how the piece constantly changed itself up over the playtime.

Honestly, this isn't even my favorite song of the show (not sure yet which one is my fav because I love them all!) But when I heard this cover, there was no doubt that THIS ONE WAS MY FAV PIANO. There's just something hauntingly beautiful about this. The gentle intro, the part that's supposed to be Tendo's first singing lines, then just erupts into this powerful bridge. Then it starts transitioning to this, I really don't know how to describe music BUT I LOVE IT. I JUST REALLY LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH. You have no idea how much I've been listening to this and how much it still makes me FEEL THINGS every time. This cover changed my life. Thank you.

glad it doesn't stick out too much! I was honestly so done with that part bc that's what added at least a month to recording time- just a few measures but my fingers would get tangled up there every single time, here it's at least coherent enough!

I'm working on Zeus no Chuusai rn but Hokori to Ogori is definitely my favorite Starlight song -- I really could never imagine how incredible it could sound on piano though. This is just incredible. Great arrangement! You were really good at shifting from menacing to powerful. And I think it's a piece that heavily relies on a sound of different instruments to convey it's brilliance, so it's cool how far you managed to go with a piano(?).
