it's interesting the differences between the 65 and 66 kits. The 65 is more detailed, but has a molded in exhaust. I've built both, and I prefer the 65. You'd think they would be the same, just with the minor body changes between the model years, but they are two totally separate kits. Wouldn't be shocked to see that the hood from the 66 needing some fitting to work on the 65. Looking forward to whichever way you decide to go! Should be cool.
@@JustBelowAverageModelCarsthe hood fit perfect. I cut off the holes for the snorkel and it’s looking pretty KkOoL . I’m working on my 71 duster and my 66 nova I’m going to paint the 65 Jolly Green Gasser, thanks for watching. I really appreciate it. Your pinto looks great . Keep up the good work.
I say run with it your cutting the fender wells out treat it like an ol Johan and focus on the paint and maybe some tall stacks stickin up any car looks good with the wright rims/tires 😁🤩scooter😎ps have a blessed week my friend😅🤗

Great update Dutch. It’s a tough choice. I’m not sure which way I would go either. I’ll be watching to see what you decide.

@@DuTcHsCaLeMoDeLs I'm glad I was wrong about the hood! That hood looks better than the scoop that comes with the 65. 3 at a time, wow!
You are moving right along Dutch! Thanks for the update 😎👍

Looks good so far Dutch... I can not advise you because I don't do that kind of build's, so good luck on either direction you go...

Should look cool in a green Dutch, they put injection marks in bad spots, but that's typical of old tooling
@@ramblers69 That’s a bummer I have to sand more than half of the detail out! is there an alternative?
Nice update dutch I love the kit
