Yeah, yes I really look forward to seeing what I’m actually gonna complete this year. I’ve already tweaked some plans and have added some other quilts before others. But you got to be able to give and take. Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you around.
You are going to be a busy lady.....I enjoyed this video and can relate in so many ways. Don't be afraid of the curves. They go together much slower but they aren't really difficult. And remember if you give it a try and totally don't enjoy it, there are no quilt police that tell you that you HAVE TO do more curved pieced quilts. Remember to use the little markings (holes) on the templates! Good luck and I'll be watching for your updates. Have a very blessed New Year!
Thank you Joyce. Yes I plan on starting the lattice quilt in March. I’m going to get the templates out in the next couple weeks to see if they work. (Fingers crossed) Have a great day Happy New Years
I know you can do it, Jess! One thing at a time, one day at a time, anything more is stress. All the material and patterns are quite lovely. May you be able to do all you have planned for 2025❤
Thank you, I'm working on putting it all in my calendar to help hold me accountable. Sport season is almost upon me yet again and will take huge chunks out my extra time. Kids are first though. ♥️
Yes, I agree KD has some amazing lines. I also forgot Im in the middle of working on one of KD quilt kits I received back in the summer. Thank you for watching.
So fun getting to "meet" you. You make things so easy. I have lost my sewjo and am hopefully going to get to sew in 2025. Thanks for your tutorials. You can do curves...no problem. Have a fabulous 2025. 💜
Hey, Jess! You obviously are set for the new year! The holes in; the first set of orange peels make great registrations lines. It’s very generous of yo7 to make the Legit Kit Knight for the school. As a retired teacher (21 yrs Gr 7-8; 10 yrs Jk-2- loved them all), I can relate to your comment re time commitment. I attended at least 80% of my Gr 7/8 sports events, took them on multi-night camping/canoe trips, university camps, and class exchanges-all while bartending and teaching computers to adults at night. It’s shocking that a lot of parents and the community at large have no idea how much time we put in. I have a move to the east coast in store and have put all of my sewing stuff-SO.MUCH.STUFF!-in storages, so I look forward to following your progress. Twisting you and yours a safe and Happy New Year! Muskoka ON 🇨🇦
Thanks for the glimpse into your 2025 plans. I have always wanted to do a double wedding ring quilt but the curves scare the bajeebees out of me! So I will be watching to see how it goes. ❤ I love the civil war sampler. 😊 happy 2025!
👋🏻👋🏻 Wow and I thought I had lot of projects 😂 😂. Yep I’m sewing with Cory, Pat Sloan, and Sherri McConnell (free sew alongs). Plus my hand full of UFO’s.
Yay! Im glad your sewing with some of my favorite people too! Its going to be so much fun! Ill try and keep everyone updated on those Monthly blocks. Happy New Year 🥳
So much fun planned! I am loving the civil war sampler! I have 3 blocks to get done by Jan 5th. And I am also working on a Tula Pink Queen of Diamonds. But I am sewing them by machine with clear poly thread..Takes me to long by hand.
Jess, you will LOVE those Drunkards Path templates! CutRite makes all different shapes like that now. I would like to get them all…eventually. 😂 I, too, was afraid of curves & ran from them. UNTIL I made my Drunkards Path quilt. Now I want to do more curves. I would suggest that you do Drunkards Path first, then move on to other curved projects. I promise that it will help take the fear out of doing curves. You might also go watch Donna Jordan make that quilt, using the CutRite templates. It made doing it SO easy. I hope you make videos of your progress. I’d love to see you tackle that fear & beat it down. 😊 Happy New Year to you & your family.
@@lonna9789 I will definitely look into those templates. I think I need to start with a larger drunker path template and then work my way down. I will definitely be making videos to show my progress and hopefully communicate any tricks I learn along the way. Have an amazing new year happy 2025.
I love the quilt behind you! It's very lovely. The shades of blue are very calming. Can you share the name and where, if possible, we can find the pattern? You've done a beautiful job on it. Thank you.

Good luck with curves! You got this!! Think raffle for the knight quilt, you get move income for the school that way as more people can get a few tickets instead of one person paying 100.00 for it, trust me I know, lol.
Girl! I think you talked me into doing a legit kit in 2025. Think that will be my only goal, haha I’m only 5 quilts a year quilter right now… I think the large rainbow skull one. My son is 12 and color blind and his favorite color has always been the rainbow. (He makes me tell everyone that he’s colorblind due the connotation 🌈 has, 🤭 tween’s am I right? ) But long story short, I think he will LOVE it and never been brave enough to try one until now! Love the year sew goal idea!
@@WillowCreekStitchCo wow that’s amazing. I hope to keep you all updated monthly on the progress. I’m going to start organizing it soon. Thanks for following along on this journey! ❤️
