Dear morgaine, there's something mystical looking about the pollarded tree, i love it. Looks like a light frost is appearing on the ground on a chilly autumn evening under the whippy whips 😁 great brush strokes with the sword liner . Love the distant birds flying off into the moonlight 👍😍
Brilliantly explained and created Morgaine absolutely amazing result, I so wish I could have a talent like you knowing how to swirl your brush around when the paper is quite clearly wet but still sticking to your plan ie the full moon in crisp white finish. The finished creation with large tree in the foreground, greatly appreciate your inspirational videos stay safe
Wow, a wonderful work that makes me feel the suppleness and strong vitality of the willow tree💓. Even without leaves, I could feel the vitality. wonderful expressiveness🌟. you did a good job👍
Withies is the right term. They used to be harvested to make eel traps and the like many years ago, also used for making tough rigged baskets for gathering large fruit such as apples. Now days used in art to construct all kinds of sculptures. (Behave... ) Love the painting, even the birds flying ant night is cool. I would spend several nights every month on the army shooting ranges with one of my sons searching for nightjars. Hard to see, but easily identified by the sounds they make. I miss those time with my lads. All grown up and moved on now. (Stop it !!!!). Ahem. Oh yes the painting: I've a little tip for you, totally free of charge. I know, too kind and all that LOL Obvious once you know, have some tweezers close by to remove stray bits and bobs from wet paint. Yes I kicked myself once I was told about that one. You know I can almost here the quiet of the night when I look at your painting. (For the last time behave yourself). I keep having to tell me off, The other me, the naughty one keeps on wanting to describe the willow as a prickly cucumber. You'd think at my age I'd know better... LOL Just having some silly fun Morgaine. Being troubled with mental illness doesn't mean I must be miserable all the time. Take good care you and your Mum. You're both very precious. TTFN.
Hello Morgaine, in this video you use a Pro arte sword brush. Are bristles in Pro arte sword more firm, than Princeton neptune dagger brush? I have recently bought a Princeton neptune 1/4” dagger, and find it a bit Soft. Love this video
I’ve tried using the palette knife a few times…always seem to get too much paint…can’t tell how much you use…also…control of spray bottle remains a mystery…tried several different ones and get too much water running everywhere…anyone else?
