- Ghana, the country full of great natural resources. Road Contractor, SONITRA, accidentally creates a lake full of freshwater that never dries up in Accra. Assemblyman narrates the full story of how Lake SONITRA 'appeared from nowhere' just a few years ago.
Great guy. Well done . Hope all assembly members are like you Ghana will be peaceful. Keep your good character and will receive reward 🎉🎉❤
Well said
It means during the digging, they eventually struck an aquifer
They sure did
Very true
I think the GWCL should study the water and probably consider this man's plea. I learn the lake is very deep and has never dried up - at least for the people around. We can't all rely on Weija and Volta.
Right!
We saw this yesterday on our way back from Cape Coast
Speak to the MP and director GHANA water company
We need water bodies in Ghana to help cool the land.
More trees must be planted to help with condensation effect.
The Sahara Desert effect is already in Ghana and so this water must be left alone. We have plenty of drinking water; focus on stopping Galamsey instead of focusing on destroying another.
But in spite of their closeness to the Weija Water Treatment Plant, they are yet to be connected. This water is right inside their community. Should they continue to thirst?
Exactly my friend
Please the location of the place
Between Gonse and Joma in the Weija Gbawe Municipal Area.
You may go to Gonse and ask for lake SONITRA

The people of Ashanti region should come and look at the freshwater sources we have in Accra. This is just one of them.we shall not follow gold and destroy our water bodies.Welja lake is there,Bortianor lake, there is another one too on top the Bortianor mountain etc.The water is free from any impurities or any toxic chemicals. Meanwhile,we the people of GaDangme will never we are the wisest in Ghana.
What about Korle Lagoon?
@@donnbiggie mind you, the keep korle lagoon is a gutter but
not a source of fresh water body in this country. I think we should rather discuss about the Ankobra river in the Ashanti region, the Birim or the ofin.
@@incomingvirus5569 Please get your facts right, Korle is a river feed from many sources including gutters. A lagoon is not a gutter. The issue is not where it feeds from, it is how we have kept it clean as a people. I am not from the Ashanti region but my concern is you are pontificating against Ashanti region instead of advocating for efforts to keep all our water bodies clean.
Have you seen the Odaw River? Or is it also in the Ashanti Region?
@@emmanueladdai5017 I have
seen current condition of the river Tano please.I think it is the most polluted river in Ghana.
Commentary full of ignorance. Who said underground water never runs out? 😅
I thought he was talking from experience with this particular lake
Good idea
@@emmanueladdai5017and who told you all water from the undergrown could dry up. Some doesn't dry up some are eternal
@@linksentertainment2693 underground water well runs out like the way oil wells do
Some never dry up and so stop the insult
Mr Assembly MAN. hOW ARE YOU GOING TO USE THis RESOURCE? Let me answer nothing. thats because you dont havce aclue what you are doing
Really? The guy is doing his advocacy work by publicising this resource and appealing for public investment?
Gwcl will not come, dont bother yourselves.
Oh how?
This is the most useless Assembly Man in Ghana parliament. What is your job a
in the Assembly?.
Eei!
Kindly repeat ur medication ask doctor to increase dose
You claim to be an assemblyman and you cannot use your position to make this your project to bring water to the neighboring inhabitants?...........
Is what he's saying not part of the advocacy?
#AwwGhana!
He is assemblyman that’s mean he has the money for it. Use your common sense, because Ghana as country doesn’t have clean drinking water anymore , and you should be to support him if you can instead of senseless questions. Water is life. Why are we Ghanaians are so negative? A clean water to drink in Ghana now is like a GOLD. Think just little bit.
