Caorle - Italy Walking Tour

Let's walk around Caorle, a famous seaside destination with more than 18km of golden sandy beaches, water clear and rich in fish.
The historical village is filled with pastel coloured houses, the streets and the squares are reminiscent of the Venetian vocation of the city giving it a unique atmosphere.
Near the sea rises the church of Madonna dell'Angelo, while the antique roman-style Duomo, with its circular bell tower, dominates the historical centre.
An interesting thing to see is the walkway characterised by breakwater rocks which year after year become an outdoor art gallery, thanks to ScoglieraViva, the international sculpture competition organised by the Municipality.
There are thousands of themes and subjects sculpted by the artists on these masses of rock first created to defend the hamlet from the sea.
