i think part of diane not liking Michael is that in the interview in '95 Diane wanted reassurance from Michael that he would never have kids over to his house again and in his bed and Michael said that he would definitely have kids over his house but Michael ASSURED her that it's all in pure intentions- AND DIANE WASN'T UNDERSTANDING IT OR WASN'T BELIEVING IT. Yeah this is a deal breaker for me. I'm no longer a fan of Diane Sawyer and will never watch another interview of hers again. I'm also very disappointed that Lisa Marie didn't get angry at Sawyer. Lisa made it sound like she is embarrassed to admit she married him. There was nothing terrible about Michael. He treated her with respect at all times. They ended their marriage over irreconciliable differences and NOT over something hostile. If she had any love or respect for MJ she'd say it was a good marriage while it lasted and that MJ was a good man.

The reason why I like some interviews with Lisa is, she let's tiny bits of information slip - don't forget any one who worked or came into contact with Michael they were bound by a cast iron contract and that binds or is supposed to bind your silence to him for life. I think Lisa was very fair to Michael here, considering her circumstances, and how awfully rude and disrespectful Diane was. You can't expect her, an ex partner who felt hurt and betrayed by him at the time, to be talking about it like an adoring fan who sees no wrong in him, I think she was as honest and fair as she could have been in these interviews without really bad mouthing him. That's one of the reasons why I believe what she had with Michael was real!! Debbie Rowe, she only talks wonders of Michael, which is good but also expected considering she didn't have a real romantic relationship with him, she was more of a fan than a wife, and she got several millions settlement for her "favors". I always appreciated Lisa Marie's side because I truly wanted to learn about Michael, the good and not so good sides. Diane was horrible though, she had no right to refer to Michael in the way she did in this interview.

Diane Sawyer is so rude. Why is she screwing her face up at Michael Jackson's appearance? She may not find him sexually attractive but a lot of women do. I bet there are a lot of men that are repulsed by her too. How rude to actually say it though. And Lisa Marie not even realising that Diane Sawyer doesn't care about her she only wants to talk about Michael Jackson. When asked if she still speaks with him she says "who?" I just find the whole interview to be inappropriate and so very wrong.
Lisa is so confused and is obviously battling with her feelings for Jackson, and this mean witch keeps embarrassing her further, saying things like, Michael Jackson? Are you crazy? So Lisa tries to maneuver out of it. Despite that, I like her here. She's honest, and things can be easily read here. Like, when she talks about him disillusioning her and stuff. I know Michael's fans won't agree, but she's a worthy girl. Whatever she said was true, you just need to look beyond and have some knowledge of psychology. Too bad she and Michael had absolutely different opinions on almost every moral aspect.

Thats because he has issues with trust but he was a completely normal guy around her because like she says, if he wants to pull you in he will pull you in and to another normal person its so normal to curse and being really annoyed, because if you don't show it its not being true to yourself, he's openly normal with her because he sees how normal she is and wants to pull her in and she was young enough at the time to re-program her mind. Hence how interested how he was in understanding the brain.
It's just like history with her Mom and Elvis Pricilla was younger than him and able to programme so both women were manipulated and I think in interviews, especially with Lisa she's more reacting angrily to the fact she was manipulated. Lisa was so hurt by how things unfolded and you can tell. Diane took advantage of that in an ugly way, the questions and reactions were hideously rude and unthoughtful. She wanted to go with the “he’s a disgusting weirdo” story but you can see how Lisa loses it, looks away and smiles whenever she goes into intimate details. She really loved him, it was a real thing no matter how the media always wanted to twist it. It’s such a shame how Michael was treated by the journalists and sadly, it’s still the same now after so many years.
Hopefully Lisa apologized to MJ for this interview. She was down right nasty and so was Sawyer. MJ had to be hurt by this.

It was pretty obvious that things between her and Michael didn't end well, and that she was very hurt by how fast he jumped into impregnating another woman and that she felt used in some ways. I think Lisa was very fair to Michael here, considering her circumstances, and how awfully rude and disrespectful Diane was.
You can't expect her, an ex partner who felt hurt and betrayed by him at the time, to be talking about it like an adoring fan who sees no wrong in him, I think she was as honest and fair as she could have been in these interviews without really bad mouthing him. That's one of the reasons why I believe what she had with Michael was real!!
Debbie Rowe, she only talks wonders of Michael, which is good but also expected considering she didn't have a real romantic relationship with him, she was more of a fan than a wife, and she got several millions settlement for her "favors".
I always appreciated Lisa Marie's side because I truly wanted to learn about Michael, the good and not so good sides.
