What does 'porisat' mean? And how long was Brahmadatta's rule that so many of Porisat's incarnations were during his rule?
It's Bodhisatta
A Bodhisatta is a being that is working towards becoming a Buddha. Brahmadatta is the name of the king. It was customary for each king to take the name Brahmadatta. Therefore, for all of these stories, they are mostly named Brahmadatta, but they were not all the same person.
