  • Mors Kochanksi, Author of 'Northern Bushcraft' and 'Bush Arts', being interviewed for television in 1975.
    He was at this time delivering courses on wilderness survival at the University of Alberta as an associate professor, as well as being editor for the 'Alberta Wilderness Arts and Recreation' Publication.
    Mors skills and techniques have evolved since 1975 and he continues to expand and refine his knowledge of Wilderness Living Skills and Survival; he still resides and instructs in Alberta, Canada.

    SUPER Instructor ! Always excellent- exact info. Mors K. was my good friend for yrs , 1988 , Rabbit Stick Gathing to Sweden Internationl World Conference .
    I hope he RIP and I imagine he is still teaching. ( First time I have seen THIS info - He was young, as I was in 1975, Ha, and I was at the USN jungle school with the Negrito people of th P. I. ). Now 80, still learning , teaching, sharing at my tipi camp in W. Colorado. Always hoped to travel back to Amazon taking Mors to visit my friends.     Great stuff. Mors gave me a copmplete set of his Alberta Wilderness Arts magazines. A real treasure, as is Mors himself.!

    Mors kochanski, wouldn't make the cut today, and Tom Selleck wouldn't be an actor.......... so what do us normal people do, that's how lost we are, better find your compass

      Sadly times change as people do. Everything these days has to be politically correct somehow and fit the audience narrative or it may offend others. These MEN you speak of might oppress others with their confidence and skill lol. Good thing is we have UA-cam or other sites and your cut is actually your playlist. I dont support the new cut or actually this generations ideas and that is what you should do not support it if you dont like it. I'm a millennial but I grew up liking older things in the generation x and baby boomer era. Classic rock, Jeremiah Johnson, and vintage gear but I pick and chose new gen stuff just not this new crap from the offended generation. They can offend but can't be offended sorry I'm rambling.
