To be fair logan morris and kai lohman are goats. Also man people blame head coaches for so many things that have nothing to do with their role lmao Fagen is a great coach, players missing shots or making mistakes are not on him. His game plan even this year has continued to give the team heaps of oppitunities inside 50, its up to the players to make the most of that
Great Coaches win Premierships with absolutely stacked teams which is precisely what Fagan has had for years and still somehow hasn't delivered. So no he is very far from a great Coach.
@@taliamason7986 great coaches win games. He's won more in the last 5 years than just about anyone. It's insanely hard for interstate teams to win flags, been proven constantly lol they are always at a disadvantage
@@Tosicc567Interstate teams are not as disadvantaged as you think they are and this nonsensical narrative needs to stop once and for all. 1992 West Coast, 1994 West Coast, 1997 Adelaide, 1998 Adelaide, 2001 Brisbane, 2002 Brisbane, 2003 Brisbane, 2004 Port Adelaide, 2005 Sydney, 2006 West Coast, 2012 Sydney, 2018 West Coast. It is quite simply the stone cold fact many interstate teams in the last slightly over a decade are not mentally strong enough on Grand Final day. Particularly the Swans back in 2016 and the Crows the following year.
@@taliamason7986 it literally is though, they need to travel way further after the prelim and have less time to rest. They miss out on all the award nights the week prior and everything. It's very much agreed upon and proven they are always at a disadvantage. Or are you disputing home ground advantage doesn't exist?? @@Tosicc567Those exact same teams I just named had to also travel far to and from throughout the season with less recovery in a consideraby more psysical, brutal game yet still got the job done. In fact some of them were at a much greater disadvantage when they were forced to play at the MCG in the Preliminary Finals under the old MCC agreement and guess what they still got it done. What possible excuse could you seriously give to today's interstate teams and try and explain how they managed to absolutely dominate the competition for almost 15 years from 1992-2006.
Beaten by a good side? They’re a young rebuilding team who’d only won 3 games before today and you’ve just come off a GF last year. He’s way too accepting and soft on poor performances.

Hawthorns best is way better than most top sides in the competition, if you think that Hawthorn list lacks talent you don't know the game very well.
Look at the Hawthorn midfield spread and versatility in the side, what side can mix and match young players who are competing with top sides like this? Weddle, Ginnivan, Moore, Will Day etc. Dumb footy fans think that teams like north or tigers or eagles you're years off.
Ask any Hawthorn fan if they'd trade their list for yours .... They wouldn't. Most footy fans naive to what hawks are building. With a top 4 fixture they're in top 4 form last 5 games or so.
