- The Supreme Court on July 23 refused to cancel the NEET-UG 2024 and declined the petitions to reconduct exams. The apex court stated that there was no systemic breach in the exam and conducting Re-NEET will have “big consequences”. Following SC’s verdict, petitioners expressed dismay over the decision and said “It’s heartbreaking”. The order of the apex court came on a batch of pleas seeking direction to recall NEET-UG 2024 results alleging paper leakage and malpractices. However, Apex court acknowledged the fact that the leak of the NEET-UG paper took place at Hazaribagh and Patna.

Let out of N students n students are found to be infiltrators and let f=n/N what is the permissible value of f to the honourable judges? Why are they relying on statistically estimated value of n?
Criminals get the benefits of boubt because there is always an embedded possibility that an innocent might be punished but here benefits of doubt is ensuring Infiltrators - mathematically a single 'adverse selection' is enough say the verdict is a 'moral hazard '.
Deferred exam is not a full stop in admission process it is just a coma.
Court must that a country capable of celestial expermentation can rationally expected to retake examination of even twenty five lakh students- arithmetic can't apprehend core of justice.
