Nimby's have fought so hard to keep the Gold Coast sterile and the population stagnant. So many projects have been killed or scaled-back over the years that would have greatly enhanced the vibrancy and attractiveness. It has basically become a museum and the newer wealth has moved on to Lincoln Park. The area needs a massive boost in the arm to maximize its potential.

Love the Gold Coast and the beautiful old mansions along the side streets Like Astor St. It reminds me of a mini Upper East Side in NYC.
