You’re sharing real facts and authentic experiences-hats off to you, man! Truly inspiring. It takes real courage to share your story and make such a bold shift from being an RE enthusiast to a KTM lover. Plus, dealing with the fear of being labeled 'chapri' requires guts. Respect! I believe 'chapri' is purely a mindset and the result of actions by a few hooligans, not true bikers. A motorcycle can never be 'chapri'.. it's just a machine, a work of engineering and passion. ❤️❤️
I have a Duke 200. I used to be a KTM hater. KTM means " Chapri" bright orange means "Chapri" , then like you I needed Power, Mileage for daily long commute, since I loved R15 that went out of window because of aggressive sitting position, MT15 also didn't workout due to short pillion space. Bajaj has this chain sound issue. For some reason I started looking for KTM videos. Got to know how elegant these machines are. Also realised it's not the Bike it's the riders which are the problem. Now I proudly own a Duke 200
My friend has an Enfield. Whenever we ride together he asks for my KTM to ride and I get to his enfield. Recently I told him, "bhai humse aur na ho payega" First thing in RE that the weight distribution is shit. Second it's very heavy. Third it's brakes are trash. 4th it vibrates like crazy etc etc and 99th is suspension and ride quality is shit 🙏

I live in Thailand, I was gonna buy the RE interceptor 650, and I ended up buying the Honda ADV 350 (it’s a 350cc maxi scooter not sold in India unfortunately), and I do not regret one bit, it’s got a massive unseat storage so practically is great, very comfortable to ride cause it’s really a touring scooter, and enough power for my needs, the drawbacks are it’s only got 11.7l tank but it can still do more than 300km of range, and the suspension is damm stiff. Other than that I’m happy, however I will eventually buy the RE interceptor Bear 650 cause I fancy owning 2 bikes, a maxi scooter and a muscle motorcycle. Thanks for sharing us your experience.
Amazing video Brother. Felt connected. I personally love the 390 adv just because of that engine and weight. Its sets the adrenaline pumping and also it is quite reliable even after delivering such high performance. But recently I have started to grow on the looks of Himalayan 450. The standing weight is a lot though but love the exhaust of Him450 and I have heard that it is very flickable once you start rolling. Which one would you prefer and why ?
For me the weight matters a lot so KTM, but Himalayan 450 is also good. But if you’re planning to buy Himalayan I would suggest to wait for next update so that initial issues are resolved.
did new royal Enfield himalayan 450 solve all your issues?? majorly rear breaking system problem ??? is Himalayan 450 is better than KTM adventure 390 ??
The new Himalayan is amazing apart from the weight and vibration. It’s better than ktm in many aspects like suspension setup, comfort, torque, fuel tank capacity but then again ktm is light and agile and has an amazing weight distribution so for me ktm is more preferable.
Indian made KTMs won’t be having any issues but if you can wait for 2 months, then you should. Indian plants and service centres aren’t going anywhere, Bajaj has the majority’s shares so chill

Both machines are great. The suspension on the ktm are really stiff which has its pros and cons and the seats are not comfortable, rear seat specially.
