    Am a South Indian.... though using chicken blood is something different around here..I loved the taste and aroma of Jadoh...totally different and mind blowing....so satisfying...best part is about the lovely habitants of meghalaya...Jadoh tastes better because of the khasis ❤️❤️

      @@meghalayacoversong9947 thank you brother, even I saw few recipes without blood...but for me the authentic preparation of jadoh is heaven...after all what jadoh is a jadoh without the main ingredient ❤️❤️🤣🤣

    I ate a lot of jadoh during my days in ST' Anthony's College.....a friend of mine use 2 bring it 4 me.... N also Big momo, 10Rs. in d year 2009

    I am from Manipur. It's already 15 years but still misses Shillong jadoh . Hope one day I'll visit that Jadoh again

    Khublei Shibun Kong... I am from Assam and I love Jadoh very much but here nobody knows how to cook. KA JADOH KA DEI KA JA BA BESS TAM HA KHASI HILL, especially in the West khasi hills.

    I love jadoh a lot...Here in we get in resturent but I like the taste of Shillong's jadoh. I had it in Shillong Police Bazar. It was in the early morning. Local people was selling breakfast in Police Bazar

      gaingam you can make it without blood. Jadoh snam(blood meat rice) is just a variety of it. We have jadoh tit(mushroom). We have jadoh sohngang(small bitter tomamto melons). Jadoh khlieh dohkha(fish head) jadoh dohjemsyiar (chicken's liver, lungs, intestines and other soft body parts). Jadoh sniang (pork intestine) jadoh stem(simple onions only or you can call it veg jadoh) and many more

      You can use pork stock to make it
      ... blood is not as popular as jadoh with left out water of boiled pork... (pork stock)

    4:23 plate you are using is manufactured by Sharif Melamine Industries, Bangladesh. Check the backside of plate for confirmation. Excellent quality and durability.

    I have been to shillong 3 times, it's my favourite tourist destination. Few days ago I visited there, it was my 3rd tym, I had jadoh, I like to taste traditional food where I go, jadoh has a very strong smell, I didn't know at dat tym, now I know why ... 😄 Loved ur videos 👍

    Thank you for this video ....will try it now as I'm misin it .,I was there in Shillong for two years. Yeah I miss the place the weather and of course the khasi jadoh stall.,the one in laitumkhrah main road below Bata. HOPE it's jadoh is still delicious.

    Hi Nambi! I guess this is the first time that you are not making it on ur own and rightfully so. It is a delicate one. Anyway I just want to point out that adding blood to this recipe is not required. The addition of blood makes it "jahdoh snam" which is a different recipe altogether. Keep it up!:)

      I am not sure what rice it is.. My sister in law is a Khasi from Bhoi and she had brought the rice..it is a local variety of rice .

      Salt is added, I guess I missed out it in the video. You can add the salt when the whole mixture is boiling just before the rice is added.
