- You are watching a diecast rallycross truck tournament on Gravity Throttle Racing. This is Season 4 and we have entered the quarter finals. Only the top driver advances to the finals. This is an 8-race event with standard scoring the first 4 races and opportunities for bonus points in races 5 thru 8. Aaron and Richard will bring you up to speed on all the action here at the Shavano Mountain Raceway. Are You Truckin'?
well, farts.....that was hands down the most exciting race I've ever been a part of! legendary wreck and recovery (x2!)

Be proud to get this far in such a tough event and against this group of drivers!! Also you put on such a show with those recoveries. That's talent that can't be taught!
Your truck is a fantastic D100 build. I'm very impressed with how the rear suspension handles the Scrambler. It's obviously a fast truck. This was a very tough quarter final race!

I'll be honest, the truck competition is better than the other rally cars tournament in all honesty. Massive wrecks, major speed and great battle. Looking forward to the next race!

It breaks my heart to see Georgio go out like that, he had SOOOOOO many opportunities to take the win but, unfortunately, he squandered it. Shout out to James Ironbeard for showing dominance in all the races, even the ones that he crashed out in as well. Fantastic jobs from Uncle Elvis and Tain showing some great speed in the races, it just keeps getting better EVERY race.

Another set of hectic races - James Ironbeard was a very worthy winner! Georgio was quick but just couldn't handle the runway, and Tain had 2 miraculous escapes from a certain DNF!

WOW! and AHHH! If only! I've said it somewhere before (lol) stability is just as important, maybe more important than speed! What a GREAT race! My hats off to Mr. Ironbeard; you DOMINATED this race! I now think you and Bently Rodinsky are the trucks to beat, congrats!! Great job also from Uncle Elvis and Tain. This class of builders, and this track, is such a great challenge! Kudos to all!

I will admit, I don't understand why Tain didn't get 2 bonus points in race six for crossing in front of the white train car. I realize he didn't finish, but I didn't think finishing was a prerequisite for getting those points. In the end it didn't matter for this race, but maybe someone can clarify for me when and how the bonus points are rewarded. Must a truck finish to get those points?
That's a great question! Last season I chose to give out those points regardless of whether they finished. In one race I had a car that actually won without finishing the last race because of the bonus. There was a bit of negative backlash and I agreed with the logic, so I changed it this season.

Best track layout on u-tube. Great camera work and commentary. Suggestion: set-up a goal post type design on one of the train cars. Clearing the goal post/crossbar would be the challenge --- points or crash!!!
Very good. You're not the first to suggest it. I'm very interested in doing something like that, I just need to develop it so I don't derail the train if there's a crash.
Dudes - soft foam rubber (nerf material) would do the trick easily -- shouldn't affect the train's stability and just enough disruption to cause a control problem with the vehicle(s).
