My favorite fruity fragrance would have to be “Amongst Waves” by Gallagher Fragrances. Green apple, honeydew melon, lime zest, sea salt, aquatic notes, and patchouli, but the main note it get out of it is a really nice succulent honeydew melon. It’s a gorgeous fragrance and one of my favorites from the house.

Hey my man J. C. Not much of a fruity frag fan, but there is one that isn't getting enough love in the community and it should for sure. I'm talking about Casamorati (Xerjof) Dolce Amalfi. It has a note of quince which is very rare in fragrances and I think you should give it a sniff. Really nice quince-vanilla-clove vibe going on in there and it lasts for ages.
The amount of respect you got from me by mentioning Tommy was enough for me to blind buy a few of your picks lol. Mad respect homie. In fact, I’ve been looking for a cologne as amazingly fruity as Tommy, but with a longer performance and a little more projection. I’m thinking of grabbing Ultra Male now that you mentioned it.

I recently ordered Virgin Island Water (for myself) but it hasn’t arrived yet. I’d say my favorite fruit note is plum.....Plum Japonais & Andy Warhol are my absolute favs and any man can rock them, too. Another fabulous fruity fragrance is Dates Delight by House of Oud, and it’s unisex. I don’t hear many reviewers talk about a “dates” note. Another unisex goodie with a prominent dates note is Desert Flowers Peony by Jesus Del Pozo.....yeah, it says flowers but it’s not.....lol.
Not one but two of my favourite fruity frags that no other fragrance ever been able to come close - Pulp by Byredo (all kinds of fruits you can imagine!) and Velorum by Tiziana Terenzi (passion fruit!)

My absolute favorite one is definitely Creed's Virgin Island Water. Eylsium Parfum Cologne comes a close second, however I haven't worn it yet, only tested it, since it's price is sadly too much for me to bare and I haven't found alternatives yet. Great list and video, as always :)

Don't worry, your French accent wasn't bad! Favorite fruity fragrance for me is La Petite Robe Noire Couture. Also, glad you featured Bois 1920. I really like that house, though i haven't tried Dolce di Giorno
I live in Brazil and the price off good fragrances it's not for everyone, so many off us, me included, we try brazilian clones houses and today, the best fruit fragrance is a aventus clone from Inthebox called New Aventis.
My favorite of all time is Bond 9's Andy Warhol. The plum is perfect in it. Do either of your plum fragrances that you've listen smell similar? Thanks!
L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Summer 2013 Issey Miyake for men has a kiwi note and pineapple note mixed into the Summer Issey Miyake DNA. Keep up the solid content.
If you love Tommy, try Fougeres Marines by Montale. Opening is a refined vintage Tommy from 1996, then evolves into a Creed Viking type mint. It’s a fun ride visiting the past and finishing in the now.
Great review, I must say I gave up on Parfums Vintage, I just couldn't keep up with the number of fragrances they are churning. My favorite Fruity is Enchanted forest by Vagabond Prince. Cheers!

For intense plum try Poison, preferably a vintage version. Also Orion by TT has a wonderful pineapple. The master of dry fruits is Amouage JXXV. Dior’s Aqua Fahrenheit is a juicy grapefruit. I had the most wonderful casis in The Vagabond by that store mm... i agree with that creed it is gorgeus!
I get a lot more cranberry from Tommy. Bit of menthol, bit of sweetness, and a hellova lotta memories. You're gonna love Man Extreme though. Was my signature for quite a while, but the spicy freesia in it never seems to get mentioned. To me, it's basically a freesia-vetiver with an ultra bright grapefruit top.
Peau de Peche by Keiko Mecheri - gorgeous peach without reading as either immature or frivolous. Total aside, I have fallen in love with the house of Bois 1920 !!! So far, I have Classic, Vetiver e Ambrata, Sandalo e The & Sushi Imperiale. It looks like I have another to add to my list to hunt down. And, I also like Sutra Ylang.

Exotic scents said that with aventus being so easy to become anosmic to, its good to not wear it for around 10 days to reset your olfactory senses. He said that a friend gave him a bottle of aventus because he couldn't get a good performance. But when he tested it himself, he got excellent performance from it, and his friend was shocked to hear it.
I totally agree with that. Many people experience anosmia with Aventus. What I am referring to is a change in the experience I used to have with my bottle. I used to detect it around me for up to 10 hours with no issue. I have reached for it maybe 3 times in the past 6 months. With each of those wearings, both on my clothes and my skin, I had to dig my nose into it even after just 3 hours. I can hardly detect it, and its base notes are not as rich as they once were. 😞
@@stayfreshproductions I'm getting the same experience with my bottle too. I thought it was an olfactory sense issue. Is it possible the juice is extra sensitive to heat and exposure to light (compared to your other fragrances) and the fragrance molecules are damaged ?
Tarek A interesting question. I don’t understand why it would be more sensitive than others; I know it does use a lot of natural ingredients but so do a lot of Creeds other scents. I have two other Creeds that are older than my Aventus and have been treated the same way, and they still perform well. I’ve tried to keep convincing myself that it’s just my nose, but I don’t think it is at this point.
In addition to my prior comment - because I feel compelled to divulge this - you have to try Cruz Del Sur 2 from Xerjoff; easily the most gorgeous mango, and IMO superior to MI :) Hope this helps.
SouthernLocks I own Dua Imperiale Pastique and Alexandria-Fragrances Citron Del Mar. both are awesome in scent and performance. They are slightly different, but you would be safe buying either. Saltwater watermelon goodness
I have a 2018 batch of aventus and it lasts for ever , One spray or 2 max lasts all day and can still smell it next day on skin and on clothes literally days later
You want a good Fruity fragrance with a touch of Oud, get your nose on Bond No. 9 Manhattan. If you’ve ever smelled Montale Oudmazing, it’s a similar scent but a bit darker and more sexy/sensual IMO.
Thank you. That’s tough. There’s a niche fragrance that doesn’t smell completely like BBI, but shares that apple/cinnamon/vanilla vibe. It’s called La Danza delle Libellule from Nobile 1942.

Ultra Male is fantastic. Its nothing like Tommy in terms of scent, but it will scratch your fruity itch if that's what you're looking for

My absolute favorite one is definitely Creed's Virgin Island Water. Eylsium Parfum Cologne comes a close second, however I haven't worn it yet, only tested it, since it's price is sadly too much for me to bare and I haven't found alternatives yet. Great list and video, as always :)

I live in Brazil and the price off good fragrances it's not for everyone, so many off us, me included, we try brazilian clones houses and today, the best fruit fragrance is a aventus clone from Inthebox called New Aventis.

My plum fragrances aren't as plum-forward as Warhol. That one is beautiful.
L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Summer 2013 Issey Miyake for men has a kiwi note and pineapple note mixed into the Summer Issey Miyake DNA. Keep up the solid content.

If you love Tommy, try Fougeres Marines by Montale. Opening is a refined vintage Tommy from 1996, then evolves into a Creed Viking type mint. It’s a fun ride visiting the past and finishing in the now.

For intense plum try Poison, preferably a vintage version. Also Orion by TT has a wonderful pineapple. The master of dry fruits is Amouage JXXV. Dior’s Aqua Fahrenheit is a juicy grapefruit. I had the most wonderful casis in The Vagabond by that store mm...

I get a lot more cranberry from Tommy. Bit of menthol, bit of sweetness, and a hellova lotta memories. You're gonna love Man Extreme though. Was my signature for quite a while, but the spicy freesia in it never seems to get mentioned. To me, it's basically a freesia-vetiver with an ultra bright grapefruit top.

Exotic scents said that with aventus being so easy to become anosmic to, its good to not wear it for around 10 days to reset your olfactory senses. He said that a friend gave him a bottle of aventus because he couldn't get a good performance. But when he tested it himself, he got excellent performance from it, and his friend was shocked to hear it.
I totally agree with that. Many people experience anosmia with Aventus. What I am referring to is a change in the experience I used to have with my bottle. I used to detect it around me for up to 10 hours with no issue. I have reached for it maybe 3 times in the past 6 months. With each of those wearings, both on my clothes and my skin, I had to dig my nose into it even after just 3 hours. I can hardly detect it, and its base notes are not as rich as they once were. 😞

Is it possible the juice is extra sensitive to heat and exposure to light (compared to your other fragrances) and the fragrance molecules are damaged ?
Tarek A interesting question. I don’t understand why it would be more sensitive than others; I know it does use a lot of natural ingredients but so do a lot of Creeds other scents. I have two other Creeds that are older than my Aventus and have been treated the same way, and they still perform well. I’ve tried to keep convincing myself that it’s just my nose, but I don’t think it is at this point.

In addition to my prior comment - because I feel compelled to divulge this - you have to try Cruz Del Sur 2 from Xerjoff; easily the most gorgeous mango, and IMO superior to MI :) Hope this helps.

SouthernLocks I own Dua Imperiale Pastique and Alexandria-Fragrances Citron Del Mar. both are awesome in scent and performance. They are slightly different, but you would be safe buying either. Saltwater watermelon goodness
I find Azzaro Wanted kind of fruity maybe is because of the apple note. I really like that cologne.
I have a 2018 batch of aventus and it lasts for ever , One spray or 2 max lasts all day and can still smell it next day on skin and on clothes literally days later

You want a good Fruity fragrance with a touch of Oud, get your nose on Bond No. 9 Manhattan. If you’ve ever smelled Montale Oudmazing, it’s a similar scent but a bit darker and more sexy/sensual IMO.

Thank you. That’s tough. There’s a niche fragrance that doesn’t smell completely like BBI, but shares that apple/cinnamon/vanilla vibe. It’s called La Danza delle Libellule from Nobile 1942.
I haven't properly smelled many fragrances out there, so at the moment my favourite is L'Imperatrice from Dolce & Gabbana
I still gotta smell that one.
