So Tom u chose to use? U didn’t have trauma etc. would u consider ur addiction a disease?

Hey Sharon! I always made the choice to use and drink. Was there trauma, yes, to a certain extent and I now know I used drugs and alcohol to cope with a lot of things in life. It was my answer to everything! I also do believe that it is a disease that needs to be treated like every other disease. Thanks for the comment!
