The style of music you're listening to is one of the variations of Tecnobrega. Tecnobrega is a style of popular electronic music created in Pará State, Brazil, in the late 90s, around the same time as the popularization of computers and music composition software like FL Studio. There is some controversy over who created the style, with some attributing it to Tonny Brasil and others claiming it was Júnior Rêgo.
The rich culture of Pará has evolved over time, giving rise to various other styles, such as Tecnomelody and, more recently, Rock Doido, also known as Tecnofunk.
During the Tecnomelody era, bands like Tecnoshow, which included Gaby Amarantos and DJ Maluquinho, spread the style to other regions of Brazil. From this same era, we can also mention bands like Ravelly, 007, and artists like Rebecca Lindsay, Suanny Batidão, Viviane Batidão, Marlon Branco, Harrisson Lemos, and others.
There is also a faster-paced version with more electronic instrumentation called Eletromelody. The group that expanded this style the most was Gang do Eletro, composed of Keila, Marcos Maderito, Will Love, and Waldo Squash, and is in this version that I, Toni Link, draw the most inspiration for producing my music.
Combining Pará’s great creativity with the accelerated speed of the internet, which connects us more and more, a new branch called Tecnofunk emerged, developed by DJ Lorran. This genre mixes acapellas of funk from the southeastern region of the country with our frenetic beats. In this genre, maintaining a massive production, we can also mention DJ Méury, DJ Elison New Age, DJ Hud, DJ Junior Santorini, David Sampler, Junior Kabal, DJ Verdelho, DJ Josué, DJ Meck Beat, and others. Searching for these names on UA-cam, you'll find they are constantly releasing new and innovative tracks.
