I think it's pretty funny how the creators seemingly wanted people to root against Solder Boy, especially during the finale, but ended up making everyone else look really bad and him the only one true to his word.

idk what show you watched but in the one I watched SB looked like a horrible person all the way throught the show. So what that he kept his word, he did it only because he despised homelander, not becuse he was honorable.

Soldier Boy is easily the best character in The Boys live-action show, in my own personal opinion. He's my absolute favorite. He has so much complex depth to him. He's such a great character.

Nah we need a movie on his past, a show would be too long and an episode would be too short, I think a movie can perfectly encapsulate his life story, his need to impress his father, him becoming a soilder, and eventually the first hero and an icon, it would also give us a little more info on how vought was back in the day and how homelander was created in the lab or something and how the scientist viewed him etc etc

To be fair Soldier Boy is the exact opposite of what Captain America is supposed to be just like Homelander is the exact opposite of Superman. Great characters all of them.

The only issue I had with Season 3 was that there wasn't enough Soldier Boy, and the ending wasn't what I wanted.
That energy beam takes a lot out of Soldier Boy. That's why he seemed a lot weaker than Homelander during their first scrap. But, in the last episode, when he goes in at his full strength, he is pretty much even on par in terms of power with Homelander. All of them had to gang up on him at the end.
Jensen was absolutely phenomenal. He was the absolute standout of the season.
Jensen Ackles and Karl Urban are my No. 1 Hollywood crushes ever since SPN and Doom. Still to this day.
I had to look up "cantankerous", really fits right for Soldier Boy. Awesome performance, kudos to Jensen. He really brought up depth to that character.
Soldier Boy is My All Favorite Character in The Boys and Jensen Ackles did an Incredible job as Soldier Boy. I’m Hoping they bring him back in Season Four of The Boys.

I wanted to come around to the idea that Soldier Boy maybe wasn't really all that bad, until we saw Black Noir's animated flashback. He may not be Homelander or Stormfront, but he's bad. His team turned on him for a reason.

It took a while, but I finally gave this show a try. Surprised the crap out of me.
The thing I love about Soldier Boy and Homelander is that Soldier Boy represents the bad of old America and Homelander represents the bad of new America
What's also cool is the physiques as well, Jensen's suit muscles are genuine just like how the bad side of old America were actually tough while Anthony's suit muscles are fake just like how the bad side of new America are a fake tough
And what they stand for too, Ben stands mostly for his horrible morals while John mostly stands for how the media and population see him
