This is a superb tutorial. Easy to follow and very professional! I feel confident trying to do this, but will have to test my cotton velveteen for thickness with the multiple layers of fusible. Thank you!
As usual another great tutorial from you with very neat workmanship. Love your tutorials. Please keep them coming love to see some more from you. Thanks again Diane.
Fantastic just finished my trial. Had to enlarge the hole so did 3 and the third was the best size. Now I am good at it, I will place on my winter coat. Thank you so much for your great tuition !💗🤗 They look lovely!
I just wanted to tell you how much I admire your work. I'm presently trying to learn how to make arm openings for a lined 18" doll cape and your video helped tremendously! I appreciate the skill and patience you have to turn out such lovely work! Best wishes from Texas!
I watched your video titled "Bound buttonhole DD". I just completed one side of the cape and it looks pretty good, now, to do the OTHER side. Then I will line the entire cape and whip stitch around the opening under side of the bound buttonhole. I doubt that my 9 year old granddaughter will appreciate all the worry that I put into that doll cape! (Smiles) I don't know if it is the best way, but I think it will look nice after I'm finished with it.
is it possible for you to demonstrate how to assemble a child's dress, one with lining and sleeves and one without sleeves ie what you do first. The concealed zip is absolutely fab but again, if you have a tailored skirt with a classic CB vent, what do you sew first, when do you put the lining in etc. It is useful to know how to do a complete skirt, dress etc instead of bits of a garment. thanks.
