Omg! I have been trying to decide if I’ve been seeing/hearing a golden eagle a bald eagle or another large falcon and I always say “it sounds like a seagull!” Damnit
I need to send this to our local college, their sports teams are called the Golden Eagles but in every radio plug on the FM station they play a red tailed hawk call. Apparently it sounds more aggressive. Or they just don't know better.
Most North American media uses red-tailed hawk calls instead of eagle calls on purpose. Hawk calls sound like what the public thinks eagles should sound like. Eagles, especially bald eagles, sound like a cross between a seagull and a squeaky toy 😂 I love both types of birds but eagles in general crack me up! Hawks aren't nearly as goofy.
Golden eagles DO make a similar sound, but most of these audios are from them sitting on posts in an aviary because it’s difficult to get clean audio of one soaring and screaming
@@mr.notnice7414they're really not similar. Bald Eagles have a noticeably more consistent higher pitched call and tend to vocalize in "bursts" in much quicker succession. Example: ua-cam.com/video/Wy_9b58o99Y/v-deo.htmlsi=I07tDkfhswYUw6tb
Dang it! Even the Golden Eagle sounds like a seagull

Pretty sure all eagles sound like seagulls, unless there’s one out there I haven’t heard yet
@@starstorm1267 smeaagles
@@starstorm1267 they probably do 😂
Thats why movies use red tailed hawk screams instead of real eagle noises.
The mighty king of the skies sounds so cute
The king ate 💁

Mohammad Ali is the greatest

Amazing !! Happy Week end !
Thanks! Happy weekend to you too.
the only eagle species that i have heard producing intimidating and scary sounds is steller sea eagles.
It sounds like those Halloween straws with ridges and three pumpkins on them.
The third eagle looks mean
Sounds like between a birds chirp and a dogs bark.
I'm at my friend's place in the middle of the woods and I'm hearing some mice or rats, so I'm playing this really loud
The first call was an African fish eagle call.
My female budgie sang like this, but repeated the squeaks faster.
The sound of that eagle is actually the sound of a red tailed hawk
They really just use that noise for any big aggressive raptor in movies
Sounds like a full.
What does the 3rd call mean? Does anyone know?
“where is Steven, he owes me 8 mice and he’s been dodging me all week”.
Idk but the eagle looked right at me for that one
“Vere is zat cowardly French schwien! I vill kill zat bastard vonce I find him”
It seems to be a call from young bird in its nest - calling its parents for food 😉 ...but I'm not really shure.
It sounds high pitched so that even a child bird could hear it from afar
Aquila Chrysaetos
Ah yes “eagle goldeneagle”
Seagle
The second and third call is that of a chicken. Lol
Sounds more like a puppy then a eagle

Do all eagles sound this awful?!
No. The bald eagle is significantly worse.
