Song written by them in 3 days while touring and recorded on a bunk in the lower level of their tour bus...genius!
She said they wrote it in 3 hrs!! That's insane 😱
@@mistique77 no 3 days
@@lillihartman9802 True, I wasn't thinking straight
Bil and Finn are truly the most talented artists in a while like idk might just be me
No matter how many times I watch this performance, CHILLS at that belted note.
Everytime 🥺❤
That line...when she begins "....that I'd fallen for a line"...always the goosebumps when I hear her get to that note
The whole thing
SAME!!!
Literally same
One of my new favorite things to do is watch people fall in love with Billie and Finn and their IMMENSE talent. And the reason I mention Finn is because they're really like a duo. An incredibly dynamic duo and you can't really say that about many. I don't think so anyway! I have to say, you should really just go down the line and listen to/react to all of her music(She has an EP "Don't Smile at Me" and her album "when we all fall asleep, where do we go"). You will only end up falling more and more in love with her, her artistry, her personality. Everything. It's pretty easy to find all her music, so definitely give her non-music related videos a go like her Hot Ones episode, the interview she did with Vogue for three years straight (same day for three years), and the live concert she did for Apple music which is all acoustic and perfection.
Lindsay N all of it true! Dynamic Duo for sure! And the acoustic performance is phenomenal.
You can hear Finneas singing in the background with Billie I love their close sibling relationship they support eachother so much!!
I hate how Finneas was being forgotten. Bills and Finn is a perfect combination of bagels and cream
You are so right
What about Hans????
Please say cheese...
I hate how Hans Zimmer is being forgotten all the time
@@caros816 read ALL the comments. Some mentioned him. But no Finn being mentioned
She is amazing because she is billie eilish !!!!!
you have to watch when Hans Zimmer in this performance is fully enjoying Billie's voice in the song
Johnny Marr. He was the guitarist for the Smiths.
You did great picking up on Billies mannerisms. You paused the video when she opened her eyes, it is not something she always does. She talked afterwards of feeling hated, but then seeing all the people smiling at her made her feel like crying. She and the audience where feeding off each other!
And then you nailed it again with the little bit of attitude. When she Cox her head and mic like that…she knows she owns the audience.
THE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE BECAUSE OF BILLIE!
Dude, you're talking about the crowd making noise? Check out her other live performances, like Pukkelpop. the crowds are NUTS!!! This is an unbelievably tame Billie Eilish audience.
I was thinking the same.. her live performances are INSANE... and I'm sure her fans were doing their best to maintain the quietness :)
The Austin City Limits performance you can’t even hear her. Everyone screaming the lyrics. So cool.
Ofc in a normal live show, it is the most normal thing for the crowd to be super loud. But what he meant is that, this was the BRIT Awards and she was singing a bond song next to the legends Hans Zimmer and Johnny Marr and in this case you want to be able to hear her vocals, the emotion that she puts on the song, the orchestra, the guitar, you wanna be able to hear everything and feel it in your bod!
She got alot of hate for this song after receiving her awards so her fans wanted to make sure she knew that she was loved and you can tell that there is a large difference in her enthusiasm and involvement from beginning to end.
i would do the same if i am there but its a live show.. we can still atleast control the excitement in respect of her dedication to perform it live with full concentration.. just saying :)
Literally perfect performance by everyone. Stunning. The guitarist has been doing guitar session work for many huge films. He is kinda known for the guitar sound. Former guitarist of The Smiths.
Johnny Marr
I love seeing ppl realazing how good she is and falling in love with her talent... i got lost in her talent a while back. And still lost.. but in the best way. (Subbed, grate video!)
I enjoy watching people who listen to a different genre of music react to billie, I feel like people are surprised at how good she really is. Great vid
Billie said this was the 1st live appearance that she was proud of herself. Crazy right? I love Billie so much!
Yes!! Please more Billie Eilish! Watch all of her music videos, you’ll be surprised.
She’s incredibly talented. Unbelievable. 18 years old. Blows my mind. Her brother is equally as gifted. They make a perfect pair.
This is just a perfect performance, in so many ways. I've listened to this a million times, and I'm still picking up new things. I'm mostly into metal and old rock'n'roll, but Billie is something special. She soothes me and understands me (I'm Borderline depressive, suicidal and a cutter) She makes me feel like I have a place in this world. And she does it so with heart and soul. Even my dad, whos 67 and an old guitarist, has a soft spot for her, and he hates this type of music.
Her subtlety is definitely something that she uses to her advantage. Because her voice and music is so quiet, it leaves the audience hanging on to her every note and move, waiting for more. A clever tactic.
Can we all just take a moment to apreaciate how amazing and talented Billie and Finneas are like the perfect duo where would they be without eachother today?
Well billie can produce too tho..
Johnny Marr from The Smiths he’s worked with Hans Zimmer on Inception and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 this film No Time To Die marks their 3 collaboration.
glad you enjoyed her performance... and yes, a lot of people were upset with the hooting and yelling during her performance.... understandable... but, like you also stated, these people are getting to see one of their most favorite performers and they're excited.... (doesn't mean that it was not rude to scream). She's amazing.... simply amazing.... Thank you for doing this reaction video.
The first time I watched this live I got the chills and got a little numb from the feeling of her voice during her belt.
To heartbreakingly beautiful for words.
A worthy song for a Bond film. Awesome.
as someone with many years of vocal coaching, her technique and delivery are just incredible. As you said, stuff that the layperson might not even clock in the quieter parts, but if you've got the ear for it it's like DAMN she's good
Just hearing her sing.. Makes me cry . So beautiful ❤
Glad to see you watched it 👍
I’ve never seen your videos before, but just watched your reaction to the studio version of this song and now this one (both of which I’ve been a little obsessed with since I heard them). I really love your appreciation of the song and music even though it’s out of the norm from what you normally listen to- also, I just enjoyed watching your reactions and listening to your responses “Why am I saying people shouldn’t cheer at a live show?!” 😅
Hey thank you so much I really appreciate the kind words Adri!
Totally agreed. The crowd can be loud and exited as they want at her concerts, i am too, but at an orchestra they need to have respect. It's not about being exited or not because of course they are, is about being respectful when a song like that is being played
Love Billie. She keeps doing different things and she is not only talented but very smart and dedicated to making great songs and videos. You on the other had are excellent at breaking down these reactions.
I was at the brits and I agree that we should have maybe been quiet but honestly it was her first time performing this and we were so proud of her
Guitarist - Johnny Marr is an English musician, songwriter, and singer. He first achieved fame as the guitarist and co-songwriter of the Smiths.
Pretty certain this jam is going to land her an Oscar to add to her trophy case.
Huge LDR vibes.
It was awesome performance by everyone it's hard to fault the audience for being excited
I live and love billie
What I like about Billie is also what I like about Jinjer. This band has their own unique sound, which jumps through many genres, great transitions, videos, musical ability and of course Tatiana's vocal ability and her lyrics are a huge plus.
I’m a metal head, but i also have daughters, so i sometimes listen to what they like. Eilish has grown on me a bit. Here’s the best cover I’ve hear of this song. Ankor - Bad Guy. I love it.
Let me at it! Big love to all the fellow metal-dads!
Bury A Friend, You Should See Me in A Crown. These are Billie Eilish being allowed to be 100% Billie Eilish :)
Johnny Marr on guitar. Great reaction!
They are both so perfect
I cry every time I hear this song 😭😭
Damn her voice gives me the chills 🔥❤️👌🏻
Haters: Billie only whispers
Billie: Yes.
her Cover of MJ's "Bad" is awesome..... as are nearly all THERE tunes.... coming from being a metal / rock listener... i cant believe how much i appreciate there music... also, any reactions to there music will get you tons of views..
Johnny Marr is from the Smiths, his guitar is elegance added to perfection.
As a penance for not knowing Johnny Marr on the guitar, you should do a reaction to one of his iconic songs. 😂
G'day. New subscriber, am from Oz 🇦🇨 too. Yay!! Re crowd : Billie sadly copped heaps of "HATE" after the Grammys, AMA. Her fans were showing their love. She said that it helped her be brave after the Cruelty. 💕 Thanks mate. 👍
I feel you completely on the crowd issue ...it’s a catch 22 but me personally, I would sit there in silence and just get lost in the performance....then give my applause at the end
I am with you wanting the crowd to be quiet. A good reaction! Thank you!
The amount of talented artist that come out of the state of California is kind of crazy
Could you react to I Love You by Billie live at the Greek Theatre?? The crowd during that performance was absolutely my favorite crowd ever. They sang with Billie when she asked to and then just enjoyed the music :)
I am glad that you enjoyed it! I know that you said that this isn't your normal style of music you listen to but I would really recommend her acoustic cover of her song Copy Cat. It's just her and her brother Phinias (sp?) and his guitar and it's just clean. I think you would appreciate it.
Well you're see her cry but I'm gettin teary eyed especially at the end. And I'm more into rock music lol
He's too astounished to talk he takes a large breath before every word 😂😍lovelllyyyyy Billie the magician I love her😘
This guy disserves more subscribers this video is amazing
I once went to one of Billie’s concerts and it was very good, it was just this girl behind us was screaming SOOOO loud I could actually feel my eardrums vibrating like dude I know it’s exciting but ur kinda ruining it for the people around you :/
Loved your reaction. Also wondered about the Steyr-AUG in your logo. Cool.
Very nice pick up! I’m a gamer and love FPS games, the AUG is iconic as the Australian military standard rifle so I wanted to have that in there!
@@Roguenjosh it's a sweet shooter IRL too
Sweet! I play a fair bit of division 2 and try to use bullpups for the look
Billies voice struck to my heart made me numb 🥰🤭
Definitely not the only one annoyed by the audience. It’s not a concert, it’s basically a symphony performance for a major motion picture. Everyone knows you don’t scream at the symphony...especially when there is a vocalist who is singing quietly which sets the whole mood 😉 Plenty of time to scream and applaud when it’s over.
Tbf, i agree with you about the crowd - bugs me too, but i felt this crowd was REAALLY listening to her! Apart from after the big note, which really bugs me as you miss the beautiful aftermath of the note. Loved the reaction!
Thank you so much!!
guitarist is Johnny Marr from the Smiths
Can u plz react to "end of the world" cover on BBC radio 1?? Its hauntingly amazing and the emotion she and Finneas show during the performance is unbillievable, leave me speechless everytime bro
anne clark once silenced a crowd in berlin that was too loud with the words "shut up and enjoy what we're giving you" :)
This is late but your comment about the crowd is completely understandable. I hate when people scream especially on high notes. You can’t hear it properly and it’s annoying. They need to wait until after the performer has finished. It’s just shows your respect and appreciation for the artists performing🤍
Thank you! Same ! I felt happy they were excited but it ruined the pauses and the soft changes with the orchestra and at the 'hold your breathe' moments you hear some body going wow woowowo like a chiwawa 😭 I tried to deal though cause its live but dang. I wish we had a full rehearsal version on the stage without the croud!
Like .. -space- .. amazing. Lol
The guitarist isn’t well known but he is Zimmers regular axe go to guy.
If you want to hear some amazing older vocals from her, watch: ua-cam.com/video/DSbqyWXVDYg/v-deo.html
I already liked your reaction-videos from that first one I Saw. Well it was also about Billie and honestly the reason why I'm here. :D
But the way how You like her more and more, although it's not your favorite genre, makes me more and more liking you.
If you're open for other genius artists then check out S.O.S or Adagio by Dimash.
Cheers from Germany 👍
Listen to Yebba My Mind and Evergreen
And LP! Live!!
Dude, the guitarist name is Johnny Marr
Dude, I believe you, but I’d agree with you even if you were wrong because you look like you could rip a man in half with your bare hands
That's got to be the next James Bond song.
Actually the Orchestra Leader does music for the movies so I am thinking this will be a part of the new James Bond. I love this song though.
Josh, I think you should give a listen to "You should see me in a crown" fyi its a vertical video, cool beat
Sounds good! Thanks for the suggestion!
i remember when i showed my dad this ...he said he hated it i swear i gave him the dirtiest look ever :,)
The guitarist is her brother who works on every single one of her songs with her
No
The piano player is her brother.
Pleas react to every thing I wanted 👏🏻
You should also react to her cover of Bad by MJ, so fucking good!
You play bass. I play bass. Though I haven't picked mine up in awhile.
Quarantine is the perfect time to pick it up again man!!
you like metalcore? Then plz react to Bulletproof by Breakdown of Sanity, if you not already know.
Please react to Tennessee whiskey by Chris Stapleton!
React to Ariana Grande’s Sweetener World Tour vocals pleasee
Wait you’re named after a curry? Great reaction btw
It’s so sad that not many people include Finn into the praise because they are a duo, one can’t be without the other.. I love them both to the very bottom of my heart and it hurts to see Finn not get the recognition he deserves.. But dude, Bil KILLED it! This was one of my very favorite performances she’s done. I love her and Finn so freaking much you have no idea 🥺💚🖤
Do I’m sorry by nick nittoli
Dude I’m glad you said something about the crowd. Billie is unbelievable live. But her crowds are the worst. It’s hard to find a video where you can really hear her sing cause the crowd is being obnoxious. I wish she’d do more lounge style performances where we can hear her show off her vocals.
We are watching him fall in love with her hahaha
And people say she whispers they also say she is the devils slave... And I m like I don't fucking care if they think abt Billie like DAT ... I will always love her anyway
Is there a reason why you have the video you're watching so quiet ? It's quite imbalanced compare to your voice sound level.
I’m still learning how to get it all right, thanks for the feedback!
@@Roguenjosh No worries mate. Looking fwd to more Billie Eilish stuff from you, she's about to take over the music world.... oh, did I say about to ? :)
Epic. Jesus loves you btw
Good review... But it's a bit ironic that your Mike is picking up quite a loud fan or something... That is annoying.
Hi 😊
Talk talk talk
One of my first reactions from over a year ago, this comment would have been heaps disheartening for me way back then I’m glad it took you so long to find it
😊
It found me
..... why is your paint splatter graphics over the video??? It's really annoying to suddenly have splotches of black over the video...
But I love this song so much... and that is Finneas, her Brother, on the piano and backup vocals.
to fool the copyright bots
Copyright reasons.
bro your screen i dirtyyy
Dude your keyboard couldn’t be any louder. Talk about the crowd being annoying, I’d rather hear that than the insanely loud click in my headphones every time you start and stop
Yeah every now and then people will find my first few videos like this one, and leave these kind of comments that I used to get when I was first starting. Good one, hero
