Most of the rock world fans are unaware that this album is about having faith in the true God, the God that sits on high and looks down low , the alpha and omega, the father who sent his son to pay for our transgressions. For that, I have the upmost respect for these two. "We are blind, our future is crushed and forgotten,. Destroyed by greed. But the is beauty, there is love". This song is the about the spiritual war that had raged since the beginning between the creator and the rebel. A war for your eternal soul. One who is everlasting love, and the other that is nothing but hate, lies, destruction, everything that sin represents. Whether people want to believe it or not, the fact remains that the holy bible is a series of books that are the true history of this world. I DIDN'T BELIEVE IN IT MY ENTIRE ADULT LIFE!! At 38 years old, I am now 40, I humbled my heart, cried out asking him to show me if he was real, and he did just that. Gave me sight to see, and hears to hear. Praise Yauha, and praise Yesuha. May the holy spirit open the eyes of the blind to see the truth of this world!!!
My understanding of this album on a whole is how Adam struggles with the relationship between his religion and his depression. In some songs he sings about the grace of God, and how he feels safe and secure in the hands of his savior (fight for life, end of eternity and willing a key examples of this), but as the album progresses he seems to discuss how his depression is affecting his relationship with God, how he can sometimes feel abandoned, unloved and how his depression causes him to question his beliefs (the forgotten one, hymn of a broken man, fall from grace). In these songs he still talks about hope and faith still being there, but it is weakened, broken or questioned. Everybody may interpret the album differently, but that's the way I percieve it
I've seen them. The show was so-so, Jesse sang off key the whole show. Best thing was before the show, when I got to go to the meet and greet although I didn't even participate in the contest on facebook. In the end though, almost everyone of the 50 people that showed up for the concert got to meet the band, because the whole thing took so long, they had already opened the main doors and let the "crowd" in^^
Jack Ferriter There's still hope, both Jesse and Adam have said they're working on some more material. They just don't have any time estimates or anything. WeirdSchizo Well, Jesse was sick, so that would explain why his voice sounded so off during this tour.
Lol yeah, but I personally felt he looked a lot older than he is with the beard. It was epic, no doubt, but I think he looks younger with it trimmed up so it's kind of like the mutton chop-ish style that he has right now haha
I saw them and the only thing that sucked was people were yelling for then to do killswitch songs I get it but total different vibes from the awesomeness of the engage lol
This song and the beginning of “Phase” by Breaking Benjamin are the only two examples of perfect replications of Tool I’ve found. If you don’t know they’re different they’re indistinguishable
Anybody notice that at the start of the song the mic fell off the stand. Way to stay cool Jesse. Probably the best band ever. I really hope they come back for a second album.
I love these guys. Can't wait to see them live and i can't wait for them to come out with another album. IT BETTER HAPPEN. If Howard Jones quits Killswitch, they should welcome Jesse back. It would be fucking awesome! They could call their album Alive and Breathing.
The jam at the beginning has a huge Thrice vibe to it doesn't it! Can't wait til Adam and Jesse come out with a new Times of Grace album. The Hymn of a Broken Man is probably my favorite KSE album, lol!
JESSE UM GRANDE CANTOR AS VEZES DESAFINA EXIJE MUITO DA VOZ MAS UM GRANDE VOCAL , PARABÉNS., PAGO PAU NO ESTILO MEDIO CORE , OU MELODY CORE DO TIME OF GRACE OS MELHORES ARTISTAS DO ROOK MUNDIAL E NÃO ACHO OUTRO ESTILO MELHOR PARA SE OUVIR MUITOS TENTAM COPIA LOS MAS NEM CHEGAM PERTO DESSES MONTROS.
Wrong, this isn't Jesse's band. Times of Grace is a side project that Adam started, Adam literally wrote everything; the tabs for guitar, bass guitar, and drums. He also wrote all of the lyrics.
it might have something to do with the fact that he sticks his tongue out too much when he screams, it makes him look like he just eat some dog food and he is going "BLEEEEEEEEUGH!!!! BLEUGH BLEUGH BLEEEEEEUUUUGH!!!"
True...but I think he's gotten a bit better in the past year or so. To his credit, this band was his unofficial/official "welcome back" to the band/touring lifestyle...
yeah I know. He's always been a tad off. I liked Howards voice and screams over Jessie's....but Jessie's lyrics can't be rivaled at all. All the lyrical content on Times of Grace is just breathtaking.
no, that's actually why Adam called Jesse in for the T.O.G. project because he admittedly said, he is not strong at writing lyrics. He called Jesse in for assistance with the lyrics and it naturally evolved into singing on the album.
This is the best song on the album in my opinion. What a performance

Yeah... The music is good, but the themes are some terrible neo-christian shit.
God is good! God bless you!

Nail on the head@@tristanjeans5800
"THARR IS BEWTAYE" How Adam sang his first line
I wish I could have seen this group when they were still touring. This live version is absolutely spectacular
I've seen them. The show was so-so, Jesse sang off key the whole show. jacobjedi2 So I heard! Also I really think Jesse should grow that beard again haha
Lol yeah, but I personally felt he looked a lot older than he is with the beard. It was epic, no doubt, but I think he looks younger with it trimmed up so it's kind of like the mutton chop-ish style that he has right now haha

amazing..... this is real music. this is art.
Yes!
I've notices that Adam doesn't wear any funny clothing in Times of Grace. I think he takes this band seriously compared to Killswitch.
I love the instrumental jam in the beginning
This is beauty. This is life.
The jam at the beginning sounds a bit TOOLish....but I love it! I love this song and Jesse and Adam's voice together mix perfectly.
This song and the beginning of “Phase” by Breaking Benjamin are the only two examples of perfect replications of Tool I’ve found. If you don’t know they’re different they’re indistinguishable
So. Freaking. Unbelievably. Epic.
5:10
"Don't forsake us.
Don't turn away from us.
Your will is... Stronger than this"
all need Adam to make a son.
This show would have be recorded on DVD! Great Show! =/
This song is soooooo intense!
cant stop watching this
Anybody notice that at the start of the song the mic fell off the stand. Way to stay cool Jesse. Probably the best band ever. I really hope they come back for a second album.
Their is beauty. Their is life. Hold fast for this could be....the end of eternity....LOVE IT!
This is simply the best
Was that just Jesse vocalizing with an amazing drum lead in the beginning? Absolutely beautiful performance (despite the mic drop:). Love them.
So Beautiful.
Even sick, Jesse's voice rules haha
I love these guys. Can't wait to see them live and i can't wait for them to come out with another album. IT BETTER HAPPEN. If Howard Jones quits Killswitch, they should welcome Jesse back. It would be fucking awesome! They could call their album Alive and Breathing.
Oh how this aged well. 😎
@@axmnstrbnd right dude 😂
@@Bdizzle-tm6bt hilarious as fuck!!
Sweet. What a performance.

I fucking love Adam D. He's fucking amazing
That was fucking brilliant
best live feat. from ToG. should be a video.
Damn that jam before The End of Eternity is fantastic! And incredible camera work mate ;)
I hope they play shows again, they can't do any wrong. Probably too busy with KE though...

GENIAL!!
waw waw
Whoever disliked this is a complete deuche canoe, bad ass fucking song and live is just as good 🤘🤘
Epic!
This song always kinda reminds me of Tool. At least the beginning does.
it's so strange to see Adam Dutkiewicz without him glasses.
@rsmith2609 it was an amazing performance so i don't blame you!
@godzillo Yea it is thanks for the upload
Freaking awesome beard.
@XxInTheUnblindxX It would be called an intro... or an interlude hahaha!
The drummer looks like a man I go to church with...
Why must these videos buffer at the worst second for me? I wanted to hear Jesse's scream at 3:57 but NOOOOO...damn internet connection.
@Atreides340 actually pee'd a little bit when i read that, brilliant
@Metalfeak3 thats mainly for jesse's sake.
Wrong, this isn't Jesse's band. Times of Grace is a side project that Adam started, Adam literally wrote everything; the tabs for guitar, bass guitar, and drums. He also wrote all of the lyrics.
post-rock?!
LOL @2:39 nice dance jesse
3:02 Only Jesse can drop the mic with the beat, so no one cares.
Why does the bassist not have any socks or shoes on?
LOLOLOOLLOOLOLOLLOLOLOL @3:03 JESSE DROPPED THE MIC
безысходность
@Obsiviction
And?
awsome !!! i still believe adam has 6 fingers on his right hand playing ! lol
hahaha lol, this comment made my day!
sounds like Tool lol. Great tune.
@rancidpunk910 2:37 sorry
Fuck it he is a pro tho... play that shit off like it was nothing...
it might have something to do with the fact that he sticks his tongue out too much when he screams, it makes him look like he just eat some dog food and he is going "BLEEEEEEEEUGH!!!! BLEUGH BLEUGH BLEEEEEEUUUUGH!!!"
I'M THE JUGGERNAUT BITCH!!!!!
Jessie is one of the greatest lyricists of all time. But damn does he ever sing off key so very often...
Blacktooth Grinn Couldn't agree more.
Blacktooth Grinn Adam wrote everything of Times of Grace though. :)
no, that's actually why Adam called Jesse in for the T.O.G. project because he admittedly said, he is not strong at writing lyrics. He called Jesse in for assistance with the lyrics and it naturally evolved into singing on the album.
@Obsiviction that's an insult to times of grace
lol adam pronounces words weird
@Obsiviction .....who cares?
damn Jesse's vocals could be better :/
Sorry to burst y’all’s bubble but this sucks. I am a huuuuuge KSE fan too.
Lmfao kick rocks...
seeing how still the crowd is in front row just pisses me off
