This episode was fantastic. American Dad really got better with each season, its gotten so absurd, i love it.

I love episodes like this. The crazier the better with this show. Fighting a war with Santa, seeing a bleak future after 300 episodes of buildup around a golden turd, the Groundhog Day parody with Stan and the time loop. This show is just getting better and better.
What i love with this show is even though theres stupid crazy things they remember them they constantly reference old episodes like stan being bald, or when he was cursed to be old, or the ham secret society episode and a bunch of others. It really helps build the show even though the characters dont age.

American Dad aged like fine wine unlike Family Guy.
This was my favorite no Roger episode. It was interesting to see the Smiths, devoid of memory, trying to restore their idea of civilization from just a commercial. And the lesson at the end was heartwarming, and the revelation that this was all a big commercial for Gold Top Nuts was hilarious.

this was so sureal. Really well written for a show of this type. Because this is probably closer to what a total memory loss would be. In every show its just like who am i, woah, who are you?! But here, it was complete blank slate. Slight recognition of objects and buildings and shapes, but no knowledge of what any of it means or what it connects to. Just as an infant learns from what it is taught, the adult sized infants learned from any kind of information that was available to them. Which wasnt much, other than an old commercial. But they adapted the little bit of content of that old commercial and made a whole hierarchy system around it, just like a human would when learning something from scratch. Its really well written display of what real mindwipe would look like

Futurama and American Dad are the only two animated shows by their creators I can still stand to watch. I outgrew The Simpsons years ago anyway and obviously they stopped being funny in all that time while Family Guy did everything possible to turn people off. I particularly can't stomach FG anymore.

I love even with all of their cultural references removed their personalities still shine through. Them chosing the names and steve going "I still like Can, call me Can." feels so on point for him.
This episode was so out of element yet drew and kept my attention so well. No Roger needed either.

Honestly, watching this several times, I’m so used to Stan with Steve’s glasses on now.
This was an excellent, well written episode.
How did this regain their memories? Stan just casually acted like he knew it all even though they just got there after no memories
My favorite episode of American dad would have to be the rapture episode then Stan gets his personal heaven and literally everything is just something stand wants to be with his family, so all this crazy shit in each episode is just stan enjoying how crazy his family is
pearls before swine, i honestly feel this was a very deep episode which went over so many peoples heads and sadly wasnt appireated. such great writing from american dad.

This episode reminds me of The CatDog episode The Canine Mutiny where Dog Cat Mervis and Mr Sunshine get stranded at what they think is lost at sea and it turns out they were stranded in a fountain the whole time lol and Cat is still stuck in his delusional state while Dog is mad at him not noticing lol but I bet he got him out of it by jumping over and landing in the water snapping him out of it lol

I'm not sure if this episode is available on Hulu yet but if it is I better go find it. I love the concept of how well they have bonded without their memories and then I'm sure what's going to happen after is now they remember they'll be mad at each other because it's such a dysfunctional family
