Great fishing adventure, Jun, something different finding lures and an unidentified fish, thank you for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful day, cheers Leo.
What a nice walleye Jun! Big one! I like finding nice lures when the waters drop, lol. I snagged a shad at a spillway on a jerkbait last year... the treble hooks get em! Taking care of business and glad you had fun!
Nice to see you on the walleye again Jun. I see some people calling that other fish a quillback. I am not so sure. The bottom fins are wrong for a quillback. It looks like a Goldeye to me.
wow, that's great, my boss, greetings, I'm here, listen, my friends, I hope you are always healthy, successful, my brothers are great at getting monster fish, my boss
Rapala and yo-zuri pin minnows are really great jerk bites to use when the fish ain't really biting on nothing else. Once in a while I'll use a vmc pro series crayfish jig or a uncle Buck's hellgrammite pre-regged jigs too. And if I'm not really catching anything and I get really desperate, I'll start using a hair Jigs or even feather jigs. They work pretty good for smallmouth and largemouth bass, perch plus crappies too. Both fish were definitely great catches as always and of course a job well done. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Not to argue with Chris Bogoly but that's definitely a Shad. The Shad has a bottom fin near the tail that looks like an arrow fletching whereas the Quillback or Carpsucker has a more pronounced bottom fin shape. I'm no expert but I used to work with a couple Carpsuckers.
I have never caught a walleye in my life and would love to cross it off my species list. I am more in it for the chance to catch something i never have before. I practice more catch and release.
Thanks for tuning in Troy!!! I caught so many walleye over the years I lost count. The Delaware River is full of them. Walleye are very delicious to eat. Hope you catch some someday.

Nice find on the lures!! Beautiful walleye Jun👊. Quillback was the 2nd fish! Usually that the only way to catch them is accidentally.

You're very welcome.
The only color that I had luck with when it comes to yo-zuri pin minnows is gold flame.
