Another amazing hiking Alan. Love it this circular rout. A little bit water, a little bit plains with some rocks and hills and again creek with falls. Great tour. And yes, we have here people with sandals to climbing on mountains that is why the mountain rescue service has its hands full bringing them down from the mountains, scratched and dehydrated. They will never learn. See you and cheers. Sretana and Zac. ✌😉🤗
Haha, good to hear it is not only in the UK that people thing they can climb or walk over rocky paths in flip flops lol. Such a lovely walk dam shame that Mrs Metalman had to miss out on this but it was the only day of the week free from rain. Real nice of you to watch, cheers Alan
Hey Alan, what a beautiful place, stunning waterfalls and so many. The woods looked beautiful to walk through also. I totally understand you questioning a 2 hour trip for a 4 and half mile walk but it certainly looks well worth it. I have never been but some friends of ours who live closer go a few times each year and love it so lovely for you to show it to us and I would love to go. Great advise on the difficulty of the walk and how it may not suit certain people, important information to give I feel. Great video Alan and great find. Take care
Thanks very much for watching Steve and the amount of times I have been going to come here and do this loop over the years, so real pleased I finally got it do and really enjoyed it too. It's not for everyone, as the trail and the steps make it a bit awkward for older people and young kids but what a spectacular walk it was, some of the waterfalls were amazing, cheers Alan, cheers Alan
Hi Alan! You were very lucky with the weather - it looked glorious! What fabulous views of the waterfalls from the bridges. Not only some magnificent sights but also great to hear the roar of the water. A lovely walk (and climb!) through some wonderful scenery. Thanks, Alan! 👍😊
Glad you enjoyed it and a place I have been wanting to visit for years, real shame Mrs Metalman was busy as she would have enjoyed the walk and also the little village I spent the afternoon in as well.
Thanks for visiting, real good of you to stop by and a hike I have wanted to do for so many years, real pleased I have finally got around to doing it, cheers Alan
Wow - the only thing better than a waterfall - is MULTIPLE waterfalls! Looks like a wonderful day out - almost funny to see you without a beanie hat & puffy coat! Thanks for taking us along Alan!
Haha It will not be long before I am digging both out again, summer (which has been very poor this year) is fading very quickly in the UK unfortunately. Thankfully I was blessed with a great day for this loop and I enjoyed every second of it. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
It really was, first time for me and been wanting to do it for years, so real pleased I eventually got round to going there and it did not disappoint, really enjoyed the whole day. Appreciate you stopping by, cheers Alan
Yes, I really enjoyed it, been wanting to do this loop for so many years and so pleased I finally got around to doing it. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Hi Alan. If you're feeling energetic next time you're there, when you get to the top of the trail, leave it and cross the road to the west. Go over the scars and head northish to Yorda's Cave. There's an extra waterfall in there, but you'll need a good torch and might have to paddle a bit. You can then return under the scars on the east side of Kingsdale to rejoin the Waterfalls Trail below Twistleton Scar. One of my favourite views ANYWHERE is of Ingleborough from this point. Makes it a long walk, but I think worth it, and as the McD's advert says, perfect if you like getting your money's worth 🙂
Oh nice one, never knew any of that to be honest and I will be coming back here again in the future, I really enjoyed the morning there, the waterfalls were brilliant and even better than I was expecting. Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to lave a comment, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Nice hike, Alan. This was a fantastic place to visit. Love the waterfalls. Lots of them too. Too bad your wife could not join you this time. She would have loved it. That bridge was pretty neat. A little sketchy that you can see through the grating below. Great trip. Have a nice day.
Glad you enjoyed it and yes, she would have enjoyed it too but was booked to go out and as this was the only rain free day of the week, I was not missing it lol. Thanks so much for stopping by, cheers Alan
Pretty spectacular that, Alan. I stayed in the van at Ingleton a few months back to go up Ingleborough, but never had time to do the waterfalls trail. Not keen on entry fees, but pound for pound, that's a lot of falls for your tenner!👍😁
Absolutely and when you consider that it also includes your parking fee as well, not bad value I would say, especially for such a great morning out. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
My grandfather who died in December 96 lived in ingleton we used to walk the falls most weeks as we also lived there when I was 8 to 13 Great life wish my family never moved
It is such a lovely part of the world and as well as the walk, which was brilliant the little village looked really nice as well. I really enjoyed my day there, especially in the sunny weather too. Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Hello dear friend ❤️ Wow 😲 Amazing amazing video sharing ❤️📷 Really enjoyed watching Thanks for sharing this with us giving another a big Big like thumbs up 👍👍👍👍 See you again take care Keep intouch ❤️👍
Been wanting to do this walk for 43 years, cannot believe it has taken me so long but so worth it in the end, I had a brilliant day, just a shame Mrs Metalman was already booked out for the day. Appreciate you watching, cheers Alan
That was a beautiful hike, Definitely worth the 2 hour drive! The waterfalls were very lovely. I'm glad you finally made it out here after all these years.
Sorry it has taken so long to respond but just back from holiday late last night. Cannot believe it took me 43 years to finally do this loop but it sure was worth it, really enjoyed the day, just a shame Mrs Metalman was not with me. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, nice of you to take me around again, sounds like you enjoyed it as much as i did, yes i would recommend this wonderful trail and never had no problem with the staff, with all the up and down maybe walks like a 6 mile walk for the youngsters etc, have a great day cheers nigel
It sure was a lot more demanding that I was expecting but a real fun morning and so pleased the rain held off too, at one one (half way around) it got really dark, so I was expecting the worst lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Glad you enjoyed it and a great walk for kids too, although not for the little ones. I saw a few families really enjoying all the different waterfalls when I was there and to be fair I really enjoyed it too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, this is such a beautiful trail, a lot of steps Alan, but look at the water falls, such beautiful scenery. Another spectacular water fall, great that it has viewing points. Thank you for sharing, we enjoyed the walk with you x Julie and Tony x
I so enjoyed this walk, not that long but a bit more demanding that I was expecting but the waterfalls were majestic, really enjoyed seeing them all. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Nice day for a beautiful hike. Magnificent waterfalls and farm views. I love the rock walls. Thanks for sharing the video. Also, saw on TV this morning that they’re looking for the Loch Ness monster.
Glad you enjoyed it and yes, I was just reading about the Nessie sighting just yesterday funny enough. We have been to Loch Ness and I had my binoculars with me but we saw nothing lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
What a wonderful woodland walk to the waterfall! I’d love to have a coffee and small bite from the cafe too, the whole experience makes for such a nice days walk. I collect those area maps, maybe I shouldn’t because I have so so many😅 I love your tie dye shirt too. Gorgeous waterfall! Woah lots of steps for a good workout too! Those clouds are fantastical! Always just gorgeous views of the outer lying scenery. Cool surprise buildings toward the end, I’d love to discover the inside of those too. The gorgeous green grass is growing gorgeously💜 I wanna go for a coffe now😂💜 wonderful waterfalls Cheers Alan!
Everything was looking very green due to the wet summer we have had, and a place I have been wanting to hike in for over 40 years, cannot believe it took me so long to get around to doing it. Such a shame Mrs Metalman could not make it with me as we did say one day we would come back together and do this hike but there is always another day. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
The waterfalls are beautiful. You are out of breath brother. That lurking Birthday cake is sneaky...just poking fun as I would be sucking on my inhaler until it ran out. You got good shots indeed.
Funny it was only 4.5 miles but it ended up tougher than I was expecting but still such an enjoyable day. I always love a waterfall and I had 6 of them all on one trail there, so I was real happy. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Yes it was but cannot believe it took me over 40 years to eventually get around to visiting, one thing for sure it will not be as long again. Thanks so much for watching, cheers Alan
Hi Alan- great timing for this hike, right after the rain! The two rivers were sure full of tumbling water! Gorgeous waterfalls! So cool to have so many in this one area. Pretty start with the trees and shade… it’s great to have a one way trail, especially if it’s narrow! Maybe people spread out and you feel like you have some quiet along the way. I’ll check out your friend’s channel… that was a great question! We’d love to hike in the Alps too! Have a great week! Cheers, Jen!
Thanks so much for stopping by and a loop I have been wanting to do for a very long time, never imagined it would take be 43 years but well worth the wait I really enjoyed it and also a nice afternoon walking around the small village afterwards, cheers Alan
Alan, glad you are still rocking it, and enjoying summer...summer has been busy here, and things are just starting to slow down. What a lovely riverside walk, always love a nice loop walk. Wow, waterfalls, stone walls, rolling hills, and Simpson Cartoon clouds...looked like the perfect walk...all for 2 pence! Keep given er!
Haha I wish it was still 2 pence but even at £10 it was still a cheap day and an awesome day out. I love a good waterfall and this one had about 6 of them, I was totally blown away by this hike. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Wow, such a great walk Alan! I love the greenery and sound of the flowing water , it is so relaxing. Really nice trail with lots of beautiful waterfalls to see. You got some nice views there too including the stone cottages and farms. I enjoyed the video so a big thumbs-up from me:)
Thank you, that's real good of you and a real fun morning walking around all the wayer5falls, something I have been wanting to do there for a long time, cheers Alan
It was, so chilled out and as it was still quite early not many people on the trail either, which was so nice. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
That was brilliant Alan. The sort of place we would love. A bit steep in both senses of the word though. But an easy enough hike and so well worth it! Those waterfalls are spectacular!! We must get up there when we get our van. On the list! 👍👍👍
It's a real nice area to be fair and I had intended to travel the 2.5 miles to White Scare Caves (the biggest show caves in the UK) afterwards but found out they do not allow filming, which was such a shame. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, What's the gorgeous day! Do you see sign of Autumn in the mountains lately? Ohhh, I miss miss Mrs. Metalman's charming smile today...oh well I take a pleasure in your documentation throughout and feel getting to know you more on your Q & A Oh..yes..I take my hat off for the UK masons' perfection and passion for their dry stone wall work and cottages. 7:387:49 Wow, ths cottages seem to be still in use. I am amazed by this robust waterfalls. The force of the waterfall is absolutely stunning with picturesque surroundings. Did you have rain prior to this hiking trip? I see the color of the water a little murky...maybe wrong.. haha of course, not now, for rock climbing haha 12:27 Another splendid hiking. Thank you, Alan. See you next time Appreciate your patience for my belated comment. Over 10 mile kayaking trip left me exhaustion.
10 miles, wow no wonder you were tired, too much for me! I really enjoyed this walk so much to see and on a nice sunny day too, so nice to see the sun back out again. Thanks so much for watching, cheers Alan
Haha only took me 43 years lol but I can confirm I will be back again and it will not be as long next time, I loved it there. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Looked a great walk Alan. Glad the weather held up. Stunning waterfalls and looked a very nice bacon sandwich. 👍🏻. Enjoyed following g along. Have great week. Cheers Watto. 👍🏻
Really enjoyed it and waterfalls were great, not too busy either considering it was the school holidays. Took me a long time to get around to doing this walk but will be back again for sure. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
I would love to hike some day in England and Scotland for sure! It must have been great to walk back there after 43 years A lot of variation as well. The way back sure is different from the way up! 😊 Enjoy the weekend.... All the best, Kaat
Thank you and the same to you too :o) Still unsure why it took me so many years to actually get around and doing this hike, especially as it was even better than I imagined it to be. One thing for sure, I will not leave a revisit as long next time. Thanks so much for watching, cheers Alan
Thanks for this next level sharing my great friend! Loved your shots selection very much! Lots of love and respect from a solo mountain hiker friend from the Hindu Kush Mountains Lower Chitral District of Pakistan!
Great location with a nice variety of scenery. The waterfalls were lovely as were the views when you get up top and then more cascades and waterfalls. Excellent video as always. Hope you are having an adventurous Bank Holiday, cheers from barnyz
We always tend to stop in every Bank Holiday no matter what the weather, too many people and the roads are awful but this was filmed mid week and nice and quiet, despite it being the school holidays, I really enjoyed it. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
That was a first for me Tracey but not the last, I absolutely loved it, so will be back again for sure. Real good of you to watch and take the time to leave a comment, real good of you and very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Well it took me 43 years so hopefully you will not wait as long as me. Cracking mornings walking, I really enjoyed it. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
What a great circular walk Alan, quite doable in length and terrain. The waterfalls are just stunning as is the scenery. I couldn't do that wooden bridge though! A nice bacon butty breakfast. I really enjoyed seeing this trail.
Glad you enjoyed it and a place I have been going to go to for years, so real pleased I finally made it and I can confirm that bacon butty was lovely lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Sorry it has taken so long to respond but just back from holiday late last night. A really enjoyable way out, one I will be doing again in the future for sure. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Glad you enjoyed it and a place I have wanted to visit for over 40 years, cannot believe it took me so long, especially as it was such a good morning out. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
A great watch Alan. We were there a few weeks ago and the rain thankfully stopped for a couple of hours for us. Thanks for taking us along. If you haven't already been Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs are a great walk! Best wishes. EOAW :)
Glad you enjoyed it Al and I first tried to do this 43 years ago, cannot believe it has taken me all these years to finally do it and have to say it was brilliant, really enjoyed it. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
It sure is, I really enjoyed my morning there and then had a very nice walk around the little village itself, which was good and a real nice church there too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Really enjoyed that. I love waterfalls. Good hike. Crazy people wear trianers and flip flops at time. Great views from the brigde. I'm hoping to do some up that way this year. Liked and subbed. Looking forward to your next one. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it and I can recommend this round, it really is a good walk and the waterfalls are all so good, especially as the weather had been pretty dry when I visited too. Real good of you to watch and take the time to leave a comment, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Hehe Alan better late than never, shame Mrs M couldnt make it though but she can watch this ! I love waterfalls so much so this would be a perfect hike for me and I thought it was a good price for what you got, 6 waterfalls and a beautiful circular trail though a lot of climbing so you would definitely be doing a workout ! The trail looks so lovely and the sound of water wonderful . Ooo the Alps would be amazing to hike at one day😃I love the views and the old stone walls and cottages and it would be great to camp there..Your sandwich looked tasty from the farm and the rest of the hike was as beautiful as the first part and its great that there are viewpoints along the way. I definitely agree to wear boots and not flip flops ! That's a fantastic hike :) ~ Anna 👍
I know such a shame but it could not be helped but I sure want to go back and do it again one day and not want as long as I did the first time. My brother had had two walking holidays in the Alps and was blown away by the scenery each time, so if ever those lottery numbers come up (I am heading in the right direction with a £10 win last night) one of the first trips we would take would be the Alps for sure! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Didn't take long before hitting your first gear set of falls! The trail seems quite diverse. A bit of closed in section, some sections of wide open spaces. Very nice mix!
You got that right, a real contrast of each side of the loop, which I really enjoyed, a great mornings walking. Appreciate you stopping by, cheers Alan
I hope you can hike in the Alps one day. Very nice views and I do love water falls. They are so beautiful! But not sure I should dare walk over... lol Stay safe Alan and cheers 🤗
Now that would be awesome, my brother had been a few times on walking holidays and was blown away each time. The bridges over the river were very sturdy but I know Mrs Metalman would hate them and she is terrified of water as she cannot swain. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Just found your channel, and I love such travelling vlogs! Had never heard of Ingleton Falls before. Scenic 😍😍😍 but you need to bei fit to hike! New subscriber gained 🇿🇼🤗🇬🇧
Great video Thanks for sharing Great to go back and do the trail It's a fabulous walk, we were lucky enough to visit here a few years ago (it was a bit colder though as we visited in February) Just discovered your channel, looking forward to following your adventures 😊 Morgs Jo and Boo 🐕 ❤
Glad you enjoyed it and a first visit for me, despite wanting to go for years, real pleased I actually got round to it, as it was a great day out. Real good of you to stop by and taking the time to leave a comment, real good of you and very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Fantastic countryside and waterfalls for sure!! A great and wonderful day! Indeed, would love to take some nice hikes in other countries...anyone know of a rich benefactor?! LOL Great stuff!! Bruce and Otis
Thanks for watching and if you hear of a rich benefactor mention my name too lol! A real nice morning out walking the waterfalls, I really enjoyed it, cheers Alan
What a wonderful walk. At first I thought £10 was a bit on the steep side though I suppose it does go towards the upkeep of the path and facilities. The walk itself looked fabulous with waterfall after waterfall ... they just kept coming. You're obviously a busy guy, not being able to fit in a return trip for over 40 years haha Has it changed much? Shame Mrs Metalman couldn't join you 😞 ... you'll have to make another trip again real soon. Haha your comments about Harter Fell made me laugh ... the fell from Hell haha I won't be rushing back there anytime soon. Another great video Alan with an ideal distance for such a varied route of rivers and fields. Thank youuuuu
Such a good day but the only day all week which was going to be dry, so it had to be that day. As parking was included in the entrance fee I was happy to pay it and I just cannot believe it has taken me so long to get around to visiting, such a nice place and the waterfalls were superb. I can guarantee I will never do Harter Fell again lol! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
To be honest I did not think I would need mind but I did miss them the trail was quite rough in places but one thing for sure the waterfalls were amazing, I really enjoyed the day. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Glad you enjoyed Shirley and the £10 covered your parking and entry fee so not too back. Lovely place to visit mind, first time for me but I will be back in the future for sure, it was a great day out. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Great video alan .not does this in trail in over 5 years .brings back memories. Also some great footage of flat top mountain Ingleborough overlooking the trail 🙏
I have been meaning to do this loop for years and so pleased I actually made it, as it was superb, really enjoyed the morning and then a canny walk around the village afterwards, which was surprisingly quiet. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
looks like an amazing place to go and explore :) absolutely amazing views and the weather is perfect :) i loved seeing the waterfalls :D loved the bridge that crosses over the water :) amazing walk there its very pretty. I have to explore the yorkshire Dales sometime. Hope you get to do the alps at some point x
That would be a dream come true for me, my brother has been on two walking holidays in the Alps and says the views were unbelievable, so it sure is on my bucket list. Must admit so has this walk and for a lot of years too, real real nice to finally get it done - why did I wait so long, it was awesome. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
That's a superb trail Alan, loved the contrasts between the falls and the fields. The waterfalls reminded me of Scotland and the volume flowing. I was half expecting a bull to come at you from the fields but thankfully none of those today. That bacon buttie looked the business, though too much red sauce for me - I'm very plain! Looked a very safe, well marked route, great for families with lots to see and do. I must come up with a few new questions!! Have you ever been to Ireland???? Best regards, Andrea and Ashley
Finally I have done this loop after 43 years, cannot believe it has taken me so long, especially as it is such a great walk, I loved it and the bacon butty, which was freshly made and delivered specially for me. Spent the morning there and then a few hours in the little village, which had a lovely old church, which was open as well. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Done this walk ourselves last year on way home from the lakes, also climbed Pent Y Gent, would love to see you do that. We stayed in Ribblesdale pods, and I can highly recommend, at the base of Pent Y Gent .
Only done one of the 3 peaks and that was almost 20 years ago so thanks for the reminder, I need to get them all done but not at the same time lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Another outstanding walk Alan, really enjoyed coming along with you but did miss Mrs METALMAN. Some nice waterfalls made even nicer after some heavy rainfall. Bacon roll looked good but shouldn’t you have brown sauce not ketchup? Good to hear the Q&A section has returned at last. Cheers Mike 👍
I was a brown sauce man for years until I started getting stomach pains, so swapped to red and had no problems since. Dam shame Mrs Metalman could not make it as (bridges apart) she would have loved it. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, I was surprised to hear it's only £10 now. First time I went there was in January 2012 and the entry was £11. But now I am not sure if it was per person or per car. This is a charming walk, the waterfalls are stunning.
I think there used to be a separate car park and entry fee but looks like they have combined it now, which is much more sensible. I really enjoyed my time there and will be going back there again at some point. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Love Ingleton Falls, its been 40+ years since i visited the site. £10 is a reasonable price especially given that you get parking, toilets and a cafe. Did that late arrival involve tractors perchance? Great to hear about the friendly staff, they will appreciate hearing that after the annoying reviews. Lovely flow on the falls and we all know why that is, it hasn’t stopped raining all summer! Well these are definitely the best falls in Yorkshire. The climb up onto the back of one of the three peaks to top the falls is a steep one, its nice to know that Ingleton gets non hikers into a fairly serious climb/hike. The bacon barm looked perfect! No flippityflops on this trail, boots required! @
More than one tractor to be honest lol but it did not spoil things too much and I still enjoyed the morning I was there. I also enjoyed the afternoon which I spent poking around the little village which was really nice too. Mrs Metalman missed out on this one but to be fair, there was nothing she could do about it and this was the only rain free day of the week. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMANreally love Ingleton, its quite possibly the best Yorkshire village there is. Which reminds me i need to get around to filming a top five Yorkshire Villages video at some point. Now thats a great excuse to go poking around all those fantastic shops…
That looks fantastic Alan, I'm guessing you went mid week? A fellow youtuber tried a vlog from there but it was heaving with people on a weekend. Some stunning waterfalls - nicely captured. Andy.
Yes it was Andy and 30 minutes after opening time of 09.00. I had intended to be the first one in but got held up on the way down but it still was not too bad on the trail. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Thanks so much for stopping by and we have a lot of those stone buildings and dry stone walls in the UK, especially out in the countryside. I am a sucker for a waterfall, so was real happy on this hike, cheers Alan
@@sulj3373 - Haha, I just put a video up and I was looking down on Great Ayton, while climbing Roseberry Topping and actually drove through the village on the way home :o)
Funny enough Mrs Metalman is not that keen on waterfalls (I love them) as she is terrified of water as she cannot swim, which is why I think she made sure she was busy on this one lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan

The waterfalls are awesome. Beautiful views everywhere. Greetings from Naples, Florida. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great week. (Like 88) 👍💯

Really nice walk. I like how the landscape changed during the 4 miles loop. Great video!!! Kids liked it also 👍
Glad you enjoyed it and a great walk for kids too, although not for the little ones.
The gorgeous green grass is growing gorgeously💜 I wanna go for a coffe now😂💜 wonderful waterfalls
Cheers Alan!
Wow, that's an outstanding spot! The waterfall was awesome!
Yes it was but cannot believe it took me over 40 years to eventually get around to visiting, one thing for sure it will not be as long again. Thanks so much for watching, cheers Alan
Terimakasih mengajak kani ke tempat yang luar biasa, air terjun bagus teruslah berbagi yang indah
Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, real good of you and very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Great video my friend ❤such a beautiful place awesome view peaceful and relaxing nature beauty thanks for sharing great nature view 👍
Thank you very much, real good of you to watch by and drop a comment, appreciate it, cheers Alan
Great walk Alan. Thanks for taking us with you.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
So sweet to have a 6 fall hike!@@AlanMETALMAN
Wow, such a great walk Alan! I love the greenery and sound of the flowing water , it is so relaxing. Really nice trail with lots of beautiful waterfalls to see. You got some nice views there too including the stone cottages and farms. I enjoyed the video so a big thumbs-up from me:)
Thank you, that's real good of you and a real fun morning walking around all the wayer5falls, something I have been wanting to do there for a long time, cheers Alan
This looks so idyllic!
It was, so chilled out and as it was still quite early not many people on the trail either, which was so nice. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
That is my kind of trail! Beautiful!
Haha, I had a feeling you would like it :o)
That was brilliant Alan. The sort of place we would love. A bit steep in both senses of the word though. But an easy enough hike and so well worth it! Those waterfalls are spectacular!! We must get up there when we get our van. On the list! 👍👍👍
It's a real nice area to be fair and I had intended to travel the 2.5 miles to White Scare Caves (the biggest show caves in the UK) afterwards but found out they do not allow filming, which was such a shame. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Hi Alan,
What's the gorgeous day!
Do you see sign of Autumn in the mountains lately?
Ohhh, I miss miss Mrs. Metalman's charming smile today...oh well
I take a pleasure in your documentation throughout and feel getting to know you more on your Q & A
Oh..yes..I take my hat off for the UK masons' perfection and passion for their dry stone wall work and cottages. 7:38 7:49 Wow, ths cottages seem to be still in use.
I am amazed by this robust waterfalls. The force of the waterfall is absolutely stunning with picturesque surroundings. Did you have rain prior to this hiking trip? I see the color of the water a little murky...maybe wrong..
haha of course, not now, for rock climbing haha 12:27
Another splendid hiking. Thank you, Alan. See you next time
Appreciate your patience for my belated comment. Over 10 mile kayaking trip left me exhaustion.
10 miles, wow no wonder you were tired, too much for me! I really enjoyed this walk so much to see and on a nice sunny day too, so nice to see the sun back out again. Thanks so much for watching, cheers Alan
Your film is authentic, expert hiker's point of view in your documentation is appreciated.
Hi Alan, fantastic, great to see you finally on the waterfall trail. Thanks for sharing it with us! All the best, Dave
It must have been great to walk back there after 43 years
A lot of variation as well. The way back sure is different from the way up! 😊
Enjoy the weekend....
Thanks very much for watching and a nice short hike but with some great views of so many wonderful waterfalls, something I always enjoy, cheers Alan
Love thus walk , myself and family have done it twice x
That was a first for me Tracey but not the last, I absolutely loved it, so will be back again for sure. Real good of you to watch and take the time to leave a comment, real good of you and very much appreciated, cheers Alan
One we’ve been wanting to do for ages Alan. Thanks for sharing 😊
Well it took me 43 years so hopefully you will not wait as long as me. Cracking mornings walking, I really enjoyed it. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN looks lovely! We’ve been that focused with the lakes lately, could do with a change.
Excellent! Greeting from Germany
Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, real good of you and very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Greetings Alan METALMAN my great Metal Friend!!! Definitely amazing place 👍🤜🌳🌿☘️🏕🏞👍🤟🤟👊👊👊!!!
Thanks for coming, real good of you and a place I have wanted to visit for so many years, it did not disappoint. Cheers Alan
Wow, such fabulous views! Thanks for this great vlog!
Sorry it has taken so long to respond but just back from holiday late last night. A really enjoyable way out, one I will be doing again in the future for sure. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
wow this is great nice tour loved it very much have a wonderful weekend
greetings and god bless
Thank you very much, real good of you to watch and take the time to leave a comment, cheers Alan
Superb Alan 👍 love this area you captured it perfectly! Love to you and Mrs Metalman! ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it and a place I have wanted to visit for over 40 years, cannot believe it took me so long, especially as it was such a good morning out. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN 😘❤️
Wonderful Hike there Alan👍👍👍😊
It was, I really enjoyed it and been meaning to do this hike for years, real pleased I finally made it. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
What a scenery Alan and the weather was simply outstanding! Such a lovely walk, brilliant shots! Shot from the bridge was awesome!
Thanks very much for watching and a place I have wanted to visit for over 40 years, cannot believe it took me so long lol, cheers Alan
A great watch Alan. We were there a few weeks ago and the rain thankfully stopped for a couple of hours for us. Thanks for taking us along. If you haven't already been Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs are a great walk! Best wishes. EOAW :)
Glad you enjoyed it and no not been there before but will have a look at both of of them. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Looks lovely Alan. Never heard of this one before. Another one for the list. Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it Al and I first tried to do this 43 years ago, cannot believe it has taken me all these years to finally do it and have to say it was brilliant, really enjoyed it. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Nice one Alan...i reckon it's the perfect half day walk...we did it earlier in the year, loved it
It sure is, I really enjoyed my morning there and then had a very nice walk around the little village itself, which was good and a real nice church there too.
But not sure I should dare walk over... lol
Stay safe Alan and cheers 🤗
Now that would be awesome, my brother had been a few times on walking holidays and was blown away each time. The bridges over the river were very sturdy but I know Mrs Metalman would hate them and she is terrified of water as she cannot swain. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Just found your channel, and I love such travelling vlogs! Had never heard of Ingleton Falls before. Scenic 😍😍😍 but you need to bei fit to hike! New subscriber gained 🇿🇼🤗🇬🇧
Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment too, real nice of you and very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Great video
Thanks for sharing
Great to go back and do the trail
It's a fabulous walk, we were lucky enough to visit here a few years ago (it was a bit colder though as we visited in February)
Just discovered your channel, looking forward to following your adventures 😊

Another good video Alan 👍
Glad you enjoyed it Stephen, very nice of you to stop by, appreciate it, cheers Alan
At first I thought £10 was a bit on the steep side though I suppose
it does go towards the upkeep of the path and facilities.
Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
well exploring keep it up
Thanks very much for watching and leaving a comment, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
What good looking place to do a hike. But I would definitely need my trekking poles. Cheers to ya. 🤙
To be honest I did not think I would need mind but I did miss them the trail was quite rough in places but one thing for sure the waterfalls were amazing, I really enjoyed the day. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan

amazing footage my friend
Thanks for the visit John, very good of you, cheers Alan
Wow you really do go to some lovely places! Beautiful scenery. Although £10 to park may put me off. Enjoyed watching 👍
Nice tour Alan 👌
I had a great day, always enjoy a waterfall and this trail had 6 of them.
I don’t know what was prettier, the waterfalls or the stone buildings. We don’t see buildings like that in the Midwest USA
Thanks so much for stopping by and we have a lot of those stone buildings and dry stone walls in the UK, especially out in the countryside. I am a sucker for a waterfall, so was real happy on this hike, cheers Alan
What town were you born in? You sound like my uncle.😊
I was born in Co Durham :o)
I was born in Billingham, which was County Durham back then. Not sure if it still is. Been in New Orleans since 1968.
@@sulj3373 - yep, still in Co Durham and only 15 miles away from where we live. My dad used to work there when he was alive - small world :o)
ICI I bet. Our pastor is from Great Ayton. It is a small world nowadays.
