I am a bachelor student doing my bsc on mathematics and theoretical computer science. For context i am studying in one of the top colleges in india in this field. When i was in class 11-12 is used like mathematics but i never thought i would be able to study in one of the top notch colleges in india. So you can call being a mathematician was a day dream of me. In my class 12 i watched Bakuman and somehow it inspired me somehow. It actually made me feel ashamed of not even trying. I started learning mathematics clearly. I atudied a lot, solved a lot. Gave the entrance but i failed. I was brokwn down thinking all that hard work in vein. Even thought as if someone like me could ever become a part of such a top level college. Somehow i was watching bakuman again. I dont know why. Then i was so angry on myself i decided to take a year of, get admitted to a low tier college so that i can get a lot of time for the entrnace exam preparation again. Thia time not only the entranc eof that college i was preparing for some other collwges too for engineering which covers different topics. So that year my workload was exponential than before. But this time i pssed the entrance and now i am in my final year exam. Even in this college firat two years my grades were not good since everyone in my batch are so good. Not an excuse they are literally good since what i am reding in the college they have completwd in the high school (being a top tier college thia type of thing is norm there). But in my last year my course grades started improve too. In these 3 years multiple time i felt i am not good enough just leave it but everytime i was down i used to warch bakuman and get inspired to run for my dream and work harder. Now i gave an exam for the best institute in my country for theoretical computer science or you can say mathematics aince in this field math and computer science becomes almoat same. This institute comes in 37th rank csrankings in world for algorithms and complexity theory which i want to do a phd on. I am going to give an interview fter 3 days for my admission there. Even now being such a top level institute (in the world) my feet shake. I feel like this is not possible by me. How can a guy who even struggling in basic math courses can study in such a high level institute. But again ashirogi mutocs journey inspires me time to time. Even if i dont get this admission i dont have any regrets. At least i tried my full. Time to time even after continuous falls bakuman inspired me to run again. Work hard twice. To conclude i dont think i could come this fr without this anime. I adore this anime soo much for making my life.
Bakuman is quite literally my lifeline. As an aspiring comic artist, I tend to get down a lot, not feel like drawing. All I have to do is read a few chapters of Bakuman and I’m full of energy and inspiration again. Not sure how that witchcraft works, but it does. I’ve watched the anime all the way through once, and am currently on my third read-through of the manga. I pretty much know the whole story by heart by now (If you’ve only seen the anime, I highly recommend reading the manga. The anime was cut a bit short. There’s a second Nanamine arc that wasn’t animated that I absolutely love!)
I watch this anime when I'm trying hard for something. I'm watching it for the 4th time now and it really motivates me. The most important thing is to continue to struggle despite all the difficulties. I think this is exactly what the Shounen spirit is like in real life
The manga changed my life. Read it from the first week to the last when it ran. Cultured me a lot to get into Gintama and Bobobo after and other quality artisan works and short stories. Also got me to appreciate work ethic, quality and integrity. Definitely kept it real, down to earth and practical for me.
Love this! I am just starting Bakuman as an alternative means of learning Japanese - immersion in an anime. And it is quite inspiring in itself. It's so encouraging to hear it has inspired others. Good luck in everything!
Fantastic video man. It's truly a unique feeling when a series hits you as deep as this. It was the same for me with Naruto, so seeing other people experience similar situations with a bunch of different anime/manga really just makes this medium all the more special. The authors truly did a job well done to make us feel this way. Great stuff man!
Thanks Mikey! Yeah Bakuman means so much to me! Like every now and then I'm feeling low and need to remind myself of things I come back to this anime. To say it had an impact on me is an understatement
I couldn’t relate more, though for me it directly influenced my own art and working on my own manga (I’m 16, obv not done or published yet) but the motivation and drive it gave me was insane. On top of that I’ve ended up teaching my mates to draw as well, and then they read bakuman, and now a whole group of us work as a team. I couldn’t encourage anyone to pick up a story more than bakuman.
I discovered Bakuman in the mid 2010’s. I read the manga twice and have watched the anime countless times. This video perfectly sums up how I feel about this series. Great work, man.
thank you for the video. i just ordered the whole box set from the scholarship i earned as a young, aspiring author. i'm so excited to read it asap since i am going through an intensely rough time however i am sure the best is yet to come.
I feel like you can apply this sort of motivation and drive to achieve something without limiting yourself to a lot of things life. In Bakuman its the example of creating an amazing manga and for me it GOING JIM!!!😎
Fun watch b4 bed!! Bakuman is amazing really is one of the only anime if not the only to get me the f up and motivate me to do something with my life 🤣 dope vid tho keep up the work 🔥
The anime that really helped me was Re:Zero. Seeing Subaru break down and admit his faults to Rem really resonated with me. Watching him grow into a better person was really inspirational.
Sometimes i nibble, sometimes i bite, but for you Ro i would give you my life. You are the sun to my moon, without you my life is a vacuum. My one and only, my rock, if only you could see what you do to my... 😳 The day you stop uploading is the day that i stop breathing. So i know there is 0 chance of you leaving. Keep up the grind, you know it don't stop. Especially for my number 1 anime review ughhhhh 😩
Same here, I was about to give up on life because of too much stress and pressure applied on me but an anime named Karakai Jouzu no Takagi San made me continue my life.
Honestly sometimes I wonder if I’m going through the motions of life or if I’m really living my life. The answer I’m not sure but I post stuff and try so maybe
Alot of my friend told me it was trash and when i start reading it I felt in love on the third volume even if i didint like the first 2 volume beaucause when we start a manga we cant stop in the midle of the it exepte boruto you can stop after 1 episode ( actually the manga is decent but the anime is bad)
I have loved like all of the animangas which show creative arts. As an artist, when I heard of Bakuman, I was jumping with joy and instantly took up the manga.. But I just couldn't get past the misogyny man... Like I am a girl, and as much as I am an artist, and wanted to let the chapter 2 thing go, I just couldn't shake away the fact that the story which I wanted to love and adore...... Literally hates the idea of me actually loving it. Its like when you role model hates you for being in a particular race and doesn't like you to take up their own field which they inspired you to take... Its a shame, but I can't shake away this fact that this series doesn't welcome me becos of my gender. I can't look past this fact.
This is the best Bakuman video on the internet. Good shit my man, I love to see you get personal like this! Proud of you brother :)
Thanks man! I love this series so much & it really has affected me a LOT - it's only fair I talk about it :")
Hi Harsh :)
Bakuman is one of the most underrated anime. I wish it gains more popularity and recognition.

Bakuman is something I read back then but it was so unique and also helped me know that others are feeling the same way as me.
It really saved me from a sense of stagnation. I helped me grow man. Glad you feel the same way
I love Bakuman! Great video❤

That's really cool to hear man! I hope y'all workout as a team and can make something incredible!
@@GoldenRo thank you so much man, we’re working our hardest at it between exam periods and hopefully going to get a one shot by the end of summer!
I discovered Bakuman in the mid 2010’s. I read the manga twice and have watched the anime countless times. This video perfectly sums up how I feel about this series. Great work, man.

Thanks man, i just took a chance
I wish it was him learning how to draw as well he kinda just had it in the beginning it woulda been cool to see that part of the process
he does in the manga
The anime that really helped me was Re:Zero. Seeing Subaru break down and admit his faults to Rem really resonated with me. Watching him grow into a better person was really inspirational.
Honestly Subaru's story made me feel something similar too, but in a different way! - I have made a video on him & my emotions around him too :)
