So I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 active that I just purchased brand new in the box from eBay. When I long press any app and click add to home it's not going to the main home screen rather the screen next to the home screen. Any ideas as to why this would happen?

This did not work for me. Long press showed "add to home", pressed it, and it still doesn't show on what is supposed to be the home screen. I moved all the apps on the home screen so that it's blank now, but want to re-do the home screen. Nothing shows on the home screen after "add to home." What am I doing wrong?
