I'd say try watching videos from road to ssl series (I'd recommend lethamyr). As long as the person is explaining what they're doing and why you should start naturally applying it in game. Specific tips are different for everyone though so I can't help you there.
As an ssl, you're game sense and awareness is higher than most low mmr ssl players.
