Haein, who appears to be calm and reserved, is actually warm on the inside. She normally says and expresses too little so it was sentimental hearing her side. 😭🤍 I cried a lot. She has a lot of love to offer she does not even recognize it.

Honestly i don't know what to speak about this drama. It was perfect from Episode 1 to Episode 16. Btw i am a Boy so this review may sound very static for some people. A emotionally balanced story as well as perfect casting for this story. K-Drama is well known for its fuzzy-feeling love story telling. But this drama showed more than love. Family values and sacrifices are what the main standout point of this series. Some scenes may not be true to life. But the story did justice. The last episode really gives a hope for the viewers that life is not all about money, love, and relationship but respect, compassion and understanding each other feelings. Communication also played a really good aspect here as to which the divorce, miscarriage and family issues were well portrayed. Anyways this is a really good drama after Crash Landing On You and i hope we get more drama with intensity like this in the near future. After Titanic it's a masterpiece love story. Last episode finishing touch was extraordinary. After watching the last episode no one can hold back their tears and it's it made me cry for continuously 1 hour.
Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun don't need to hug ,hold their hands and to kiss to make their chemistry. Even looking in each others eyes will make them the best married couple ❤.Baek Hong power couple
I still remembered in one of the episodes as an epilogue before her surgery, Hyunwoo recorded a video with a camera to let Haein know that he is her husband and not to be afraid even if she can't remember her memories. I wished they showed a scene that brought this back, perhaps Haein seeing it herself.
yeh i had caught that too, it wouldve been better if they added that right before or after this scene. HyunWoo technically sent that notebook to her so he shouldve sent his video to her also. Or maybe his video was with the notebook but they just took out the scene of her watching it and showing only her reading since the notebook and video wouldve had the same reaction from Hae-in. But it still wouldve been nice to keep the video in this scene too

I was looking for this comment, you are not only one I too wished that she gets her entire memory back as it was before, meaning before the surgery, and as she said, she will wear her wedding dress again and then marry him. But the makers did not do that, her entire memory did not come back, I am sad about that 😔There is a happy ending but still all the fans cried, after watching this masterpiece everyone becomes the queen of tears 😢😢

The last episode was wonderful! i loved how they paid attention to all the characters involved and gave them a proper ending! my eyes were filled with tears and somehow my heart felt satisfied! Funny how they were married for about 50 years before Hae-in's death and how in episode 4 after finding out that she might be cured, Hyun-woo in his delirium mentions having to suffer through the same situation he's been in with Hae-in and her family for another 50 years 😂😂

Finding the love of your life is difficult to achieve, but Hae-in found it twice, by losing her memories and falling in love all over again! Most people compare the feeling of falling in love to being a similar effect of a drug, it overcomes your senses and makes you think constantly of that person. The sense of euphoria of being near them, learning about them, and your heartbeat racing when you are around them. Every little nuance of that person becomes imprinted on you, and you can be yourself without fear of judgment. The actors did a wonderful job of portraying LOVE. I can understand why most fans are shipping the two leads. But.... if its meant to be its meant to be.

Kim Ji Won did an excellent job portraying her character. Hats off to her, and she's fantastic in all of her roles, but the Queen of Tears elevated her to a new level of performance. She is really charming 👏👏👏❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
The actress is wonderful, and the character of Hae-In seems like one of those characters from Wonh Kar-Wai's films, she could fit perfectly in "In the Mood For Love" or in "2046"
This was my favorite scene in the last 2 parts. It's so touching how they made it. Although to be honest.. they could've let her lose her memory 3 episodes earlier to give way for the baekhong love story to bloom again. The last 2 episodes felt rushed and I didn't feel that HAE IN falls back in love with hyun woo.. She still has no idea who he is and just starting to like him again. This was the bummer in the series. GAAHD she didnt even get to see Hyun Woo's recorded video which would have been touching as well. Would have liked it better if she remembered a key moment when she was deeply in love with hyun woo. There was 0 kissing scene after the surgery. Nothing. Just holding hands then the end. I felt sooooooo dismayed.

The writer didn't do the villains justice, and so many unnecessary and even unrealistic turn of events ruined what could've been a flawless show. BaekHong moments are always good, but every single parts involving the antagonists becomes an unbearable shitshow due to flawless acting yet horrendous writing.

I'd love to agree, but it doesn't really show that her memories are back. It's more of "oh, the past me was this" (although her heart remembers) rather than her old self being back. Unfortunately, I don't think we see her all of her memories or persona come back fully. Unless we assume that they come back sometime in the 50 years that she lived further.

The way they solved hi case in prison was for children no logic . I guess the slove story itself is nice but the company and cases are written without details

The ending kinda feel like bittersweet the director literally said" don't be too happy here's their future old baek hyun woo alone" Seeing him alone on the stairs and putting Flowers on haeins grave really pierced somewhere inside my heart..like the realisation that after everything they went through the happy ever after isn't forever really stings..But the journey with this drama was so good..wanna cherish it..

This was a heartfelt awakening for Hae In but also heartbreaking because she had accused him wrongly and treated him harshly. Not her fault but she felt the guilt.

Kim Ji Won did an excellent job portraying her character. Hats off to her, and she's fantastic in all of her roles, but the Queen of Tears elevated her to a new level of performance. She is really charming 👏👏👏❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
The actress is wonderful, and the character of Hae-In seems like one of those characters from Wonh Kar-Wai's films, she could fit perfectly in "In the Mood For Love" or in "2046"

This was my favorite scene in the last 2 parts. It's so touching how they made it. Although to be honest.. they could've let her lose her memory 3 episodes earlier to give way for the baekhong love story to bloom again. The last 2 episodes felt rushed and I didn't feel that HAE IN falls back in love with hyun woo.. She still has no idea who he is and just starting to like him again. This was the bummer in the series. GAAHD she didnt even get to see Hyun Woo's recorded video which would have been touching as well. Would have liked it better if she remembered a key moment when she was deeply in love with hyun woo. There was 0 kissing scene after the surgery. Nothing. Just holding hands then the end. I felt sooooooo dismayed.
It is expected she can't kiss a stranger :)

she lived for long...the ending hits different compared to other ending...i love it..bittersweet........noticed how the man mourning for her is hyunwoo in 2075 that haein alrd saw when they went to germany for their honeymoon...she said will he be like that when she died but thats exactly him just in the future 😭

@@PiyanistMimar I thought ep 12-15 into the first half of ep 16 was horrendous. Just my take. The writer didn't do the villains justice, and so many unnecessary and even unrealistic turn of events ruined what could've been a flawless show. BaekHong moments are always good, but every single parts involving the antagonists becomes an unbearable shitshow due to flawless acting yet horrendous writing.

I'd love to agree, but it doesn't really show that her memories are back. It's more of "oh, the past me was this" (although her heart remembers) rather than her old self being back. Unfortunately, I don't think we see her all of her memories or persona come back fully. Unless we assume that they come back sometime in the 50 years that she lived further.
