My mom's 91. Even though she's stubborn and still insists on doing almost everything for herself, I can see her struggling. I know that she will not be with us much longer. I will miss her so much, but my grief will be for myself and those she left behind because I know without a doubt that where she's going is her reward for doing time here on earth. She will leave behind the frail body that doesn't always respond to her brain. She will no longer be in constant pain. So yes, when she's finally free I will sing hallelujah.
How to comfort someone in their times of grief: 1. Don't try to relate by saying "I know how you feel.". No, you don't know how they feel. Everyone feels differently towards grief. 2. Make them feel loved. Get them gifts if you can. If you want to help, offer a hug. NEVER say that they're being dramatic. Even if it's somebody you don't know. 3. Spend more time with them. My great-grandma just died a few weeks ago. I was raised by my grandma so she was like a grandma to me while my actual grandma was like a mother. I am 23, my great-grandma got to see me grow up and I couldn't feel more blessed. She loved God and I truly believe he welcomed her home when she died but, it took me weeks before I could listen to this song as even now there are 6 boxes of photos she has kept over the years behind me, items of greater treasures are stored in another room including the painting that hung above her bed. My heart is broken, and I'm just sitting here in tears but hey maybe one day I will be able to actually sing this song but for now, listening and remembering the person she was and the relationship I had with her will have to do as that is all I am capable of right now.

One of my friends passed away in september the 10th this year from suicide. He was only 19 years old when he left with a future ahead of him, loving parents and many friends. He was the type to always cheer you up when your down and be there for you. He once told me that all girls are princesses and should be treated like one. I really miss him, even before he passed he texted me "You'll always be my best friend, make sure to remember me". At that time I had no idea this would be the last I'll hear from him. I feel bad that I didn't know he was sad as he was always happy around us. It was only after his death I looked through his account he kept away from us where he would write about his sad emotions and whats really going on in his life. I found out the reason for his death was misstreatment from his teacher who always belittled him and bullied him despite him being absolutely excelled at dancing (his a dance major). His teacher bullied him for his sexuality, for being gay. We had so many memories and everytime I look back I cant help but cry and wish he was still here.
I lost my father 8 months ago. It’s still very hard to face this COVID situation without him. My life is a mess & I wish I could talk to him about it. Ed is an amazing man with a beautiful gift. I watch this video over & over. Thank you very much! 💙

My great-grandma just died a few weeks ago. I was raised by my grandma so she was like a grandma to me while my actual grandma was like a mother. I am 23, my great-grandma got to see me grow up and I couldn't feel more blessed. She loved God and I truly believe he welcomed her home when she died but, it took me weeks before I could listen to this song as even now there are 6 boxes of photos she has kept over the years behind me, items of greater treasures are stored in another room including the painting that hung above her bed. My heart is broken, and I'm just sitting here in tears but hey maybe one day I will be able to actually sing this song but for now, listening and remembering the person she was and the relationship I had with her will have to do as that is all I am capable of right now.

i knew i was going to cry and i still watched
One of my friends passed away in september the 10th this year from suicide. He was only 19 years old when he left with a future ahead of him, loving parents and many friends. He was the type to always cheer you up when your down and be there for you. He once told me that all girls are princesses and should be treated like one. I really miss him, even before he passed he texted me "You'll always be my best friend, make sure to remember me". At that time I had no idea this would be the last I'll hear from him.
I feel bad that I didn't know he was sad as he was always happy around us. It was only after his death I looked through his account he kept away from us where he would write about his sad emotions and whats really going on in his life. I found out the reason for his death was misstreatment from his teacher who always belittled him and bullied him despite him being absolutely excelled at dancing (his a dance major). His teacher bullied him for his sexuality, for being gay.
We had so many memories and everytime I look back I cant help but cry and wish he was still here.
I lost my father 8 months ago. It’s still very hard to face this COVID situation without him. My life is a mess & I wish I could talk to him about it. Ed is an amazing man with a beautiful gift. I watch this video over & over. Thank you very much! 💙
