We don't even like ourselves ( i.e we even buy wigs of different race and put it on and skin bleaching has become a norm and we have adopted the western life and neglected ours) so how do we expect other to like us if we don't like ourselves. In the US there are Africans who take their life savings fly to Ecuador and then begin their march on foot paying coyotes and smugglers to get to the US only to sit in squalor and misery. No one is welcoming them with open arms. They could have that money to build back home. They didn't. At a certain point, you can't blame the West for all the evils visited upon Africa and Africans. In the US we fought all kinds of wars to secure our rights. It's not perfect, but you cannot expect paradise to magically appear. You have to create it. And so while foolish people leave the continent in pursuit of la la land, Europeans are flying to Africa where the people will welcome them with open arms and give them opportunity.

I do like Ur style of speaking truth to the situations U talk about. My family moved from Nigeria to Cote d'Ivoire. We did consider Ghana BUT we preferred Cote d'Ivoire despite the language barrier.
