Is there a proper pedestrian pavement to walk from the blue pond to the waterfall?
I checked google map and I saw that there is a long thin road running all the way beside the river to the waterfall. I wondering if I am able to travel this path instead of walking along the road that you took because of vehicles passing by.
It may very well be possible and I imagine there is since it's a popular route to Blue Pond to the waterfall and small town. Can't confirm as I took the road and besides maybe one other person who walked the road with me, there could be.
Maybe sometime else can confirm otherwise if you try let me know as others may find it more comfortable to walk!
(1) How many minutes by train from Sapporo to Asahikawa? (2) How many minutes from Asahikawa to the Blue Pond?
Can't stay as I got the coach which takes maybe 2-3 hours. I imagine it's 1 hour by train and you'll get the local bus from the station. From Asahikawa to Blue Pond maybe less than 30 minutes from my recollection. Hope that helps!

Hey there, I went around end of March April do you'll be going on a great time! Cherry blossom isn't until May do it'll still be cold and lots of snow in Hokkaido then. 😎👌❄
