Honestly Thai people are generally like these two. Actually so kind.
Apart from the scams, which definitely come with being a tourist and getting TukTuks. I'm actually surprised Kampot didn't take AJ to a suit shop himself. I don't really blame them massively as the average tourist undoubtedly has way more money and opportunities. I don't know what it's like to be desperate like many of them are.
Generally lovely people though and they love the UK also. Traffic is horrendous, which puts me off living there, despite having been offered a job there. It's a wonderful place though!

I'm the furthest from materialistic so amassing wealth was only previously desirable for me to secure generational financial freedom, but seeing how much happiness AJ provided simply by supporting local businesses and paying them well has inspired me to do wish to do the same.

Kampot has definitely rinsed him of all his money, especially considering he pulled out the classic "what team do you support?" question
yea especially since he brought him to the „floating market“ which is actually a WHOLE FLOATING MARKET with hundreds of different boats selling different things. this is a common trick that inofficial tuctuc drivers do, they get paid a commision from a shop to trick tourists into buying their overpriced products.
i instantly knew the tuc tuc driver would be a scammer, because in Germany we have a popular tv show uncovering scams in tourist destinations 😅
