I remember when Israel previously occupied southern Lebanon. The occupation mostly stopped the rockets being fired into Northern Israel but it was an absolute nightmare for the young conscripts who had to go there. Similar to the experience of young conscripts from the USA having to go to Vietnam. I'm not sure it's worth it.

I remember when Israel previously occupied southern Lebanon. The occupation mostly stopped the rockets being fired into Northern Israel but it was an absolute nightmare for the young conscripts who had to go there. Similar to the experience of young conscripts from the USA having to go to Vietnam. I'm not sure it's worth it.

Why does Hezbollah and Hamas insist on firing unguided rockets into Israel where the Iron Dome just snuffs them out? Why? Why not do some Research and Development and affix wings and GPS kits etc. and at least have them land within 10 meters of their military target. Firing unguided rockets is just indiscriminate.
