Ren as inquisitor initially angry towards a blinded society but realised that he needs to mirror on himself and is equally to blame. Ire then directed inward.
Great reaction. Thank you! I didn't see anyone else mention it in the comments but you need to react to "Money Game Part 2 the official lyric version". 👍
yes not the live
The live is a slowed down acapella abridged version... this is the ONE time where the studio version is the one to listen to.
Each episode in this series follows a theme:
1: The concept of the money game
2: The macro level (how does it affect the world?)
3: The micro level (how does this affect individuals?)
Thats his Big Push bandmate Romain Axisi on the guitar.
Ren is in green... he's the Money and greed...
The hood guy is us... those caught up in the money game, blind to the dangers... Ren draws eyes on the hood... he's opening our eyes to the problem.
Every time Ren (money) is ready to destroy us (hood guy) he stops... at the end, Greed destroys itself.
Part 2 and 3 are not direct sequels... if MG 1 is the populace caught up in the game... 2 and 3 are from different POVs.
Thanks, I wondered if it was Romaine :)
you know what blew my mind? They had 183 takes of this piece, to make it right. The last scene with Ren spilling the petrol could NOT be repeated (impossible to clean), so THIS IS THE LAST TAKE. Imagine the strength of his bloody focus and stamina to be this fierce in his delivery and his acting...
🔥💥🔥💥🔥Hey everyone! Don’t forget to pre-order “Troubles” today. Ren thinks it’s gonna chart! Ren deserves the attention, as well as, those of us suffering with chronic illness…like me. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Yes. I’m so glad you are back on Ren. The Money Game will definitely have you thinking
FINALLY MORE REN!!
You need the lyric video for part 2. The live version only gives you one verse.
Took your time reacting to Ren again, Larry! Looking forward to watching all the Ren reactions coming up!
Ren is Iconic
Glad to see you on more Ren. There are sooooo many you need to see.
I've heard this song many times, but just noticed that the line "Turns a saint into a sinner, a child into a killer" is probably a reference Screech from his 3 tale songs
This was REN and Sam’s first go at the now signature “ one take”. I believe that it took them 415 takes. The hooded figure, played by Romain from TBP, represents all of us. We go through life blinded by our own pursuits. Ren gives him eyes which does 2 things: 1) it enables him to see so ignorance isn’t an option, and 2) it “ humanizes “ him. Initially Ren is going to burn him in effigy but, as he sings, it’s easier to cast the blame outside of ourselves but in reality we’re ALL part of the Money Game, and so he turns it on himself.
186 takes
Thanks for this!
@@analisasmith7927 I stand corrected
Oh, make sure to do the official lyric video og MG pt 2!! WERY IMPORTENT.
BOTH!
I know this isn't a song to react to, but I would highly recommend reacting to Astartes Parts 1-5. It is absolutely amazing, and everyone that i have seen that watch it for the first time gets blown away by it. Without spoiling anything it is someone who is in love with Warhammer 40k, and spent approximately 5 years making 5 videos that all together is about 12 minutes long. Again, I would highly highly recommend giving it a watch.
Makes you think.
As the world turns the whole world burns.
Wake up and address the money game and make a better system
Plato's allegory of the cave seems appropriate as a simile here. We are blinded and don't see the truth, and even when confronted with it, we ridicule it. Enlightenment isn't a comfortable experience.
Yessss!! Love to see some Ren action! Part 3 is gonna blow your mind!
The Money Game trilogy is incredible. For part 2, make sure to do the lyric video first as it's the complete version of the song. Part 3 is stunning! Great reaction 💜💜
I believe Ren was protracting Greed and the guitar player was the people , Thats why he gave them eyes to watch the world burn !! 2 & 3 are just different aspects of the money Game !! Nice reaction !
Money game part 3 - won an award and ties 1 and 2 together. Please do part 2 the lyric video. Native Americans should have stopped immigration when the pilgrims came over on boats, see how mean that sounds America lol but true! A lot of pain could have been avoided. think about that.
Hallooo! I love waking up to a new reaction👏 your face at the end when he had the lighter was the best!😂 looking forward to part 2!
Thankyou❤️
👋🤗
Have a great day my friend 😊
@@that_averagetyp Hi lovely!!👋 Thankyou! You too!! 🤗🤗

Thanks Sandy! Good to see you as well!
Great reaction.... 2 is fun... Just WAIT until you see 3. One of his very best videos ever in my mind. Hi Ren level.
I'd recommend to give "Steam Powered Giraffe - Honeybee" a shot :)
I just want to say after this performance I think Ren would make a excellent joker in Batman 😬
He’s realizing at the end of the video that he’s just like the guy playing guitar. We’re all caught up in this Money Game!
Great reaction! I subbed. Thanks. 😉❤️✌️
Thanks and welcome to the channel!
When you said “I don’t know any country that would let people just stroll in” had to chuckle, especially as a fellow Californian, as usually strong countries do just that to weaker countries, it’s called “colonization” and often accompanied by genocide and attempts to stamp out the existing culture.
Facts
BOTH versions of part 2!!
(Lyric first)
I can't wait for you to get through this trilogy... for me it gets better each video which is rare. Usually the 1st is the best and the others are ok. This may have been 1 take but my understanding is he did it over 130 times to get that 1 take. Make sure part 2 is the official video. There is an acoustic version with Ren walking on the beach but it is only a piece of the whole and you really need to see the whole before going to part 3.
This is a one-shot. Sam the videographer said “again like with money game we ended up doing like 186 takes to get that right oh my God” in an interview along with Ren and Black Pegasus (ua-cam.com/video/eWf7bT_jf6U/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared&t=5483) 1 hour 31 minutes in
Nice! Great choice to do 3 in a row🤙🏻
I was waiting for your Radiohead react :(
Nice reacrion, I'd also recommen to go fast to part three .. as with all his sagas
Romain from The Big Push on guitar for Part 1. And for Part 2, you need to watch the lyric video for the full version.
Here we gooooooo
Ren❤❤❤
This isn't a spoiler, but for the symbolism at the very end, you should know that Rage Against The Machine was a big influence on Ren when he was younger, google their self titled debut album cover from 1992, then do a google search for Vietnamese Buddhist monk "Thich Quang Duc", the photo of his actions became an international symbol of peaceful resistance, similar to a raised fist being a symbol of standing up against oppression. (trigger warning, the photos you'll see upon those google searches are NOT photoshopped, they are 100% authentic and in color) ✌💚
Part 2 isnt a direct follow on its more a more catchy song talking about similar issues but more focused on companies abuse of power- p.s make sure to do the one with all the views not the later live walking along the beach- you want the one with the video. p.s part 2 is much catchier a song and isnt a performance piece like 1 and 3 but it has amazing lyrics, how ren simply explains the corporate world though comparing it to simple things and a nursery rhyme..
And part 3 looks at the money game from another angle- how it even ruins the lives of the rich.
Watch kyle hill or some other good reactor react to it if you want to hear some takes on the symbolism in this one.
I think the sheet guy represents a victim of the money game- Ren both represents someone working for the money game and also a narator? At the end once Ren gives the guys eyes he can see what ren is up to and blocks his attempt to burn him- and that humanises his victim and makes ren as the money game hit man, see himself for what he is- that he is the one who deserves to be burned?
Thats my take- but there are other ways to take it all for sure.
good stuff
Finally! 🎉
You've listen to James Blunt - Monsters, please react to Dean Lewis - How Do I Say Goodbye?
Not sure of how immigration works in US these days. I have a Welsh friend who keeps being asked to leave and hss had to be very tenacious to reapply and fight to return a number of times
From the UK perspective we have a very diverse population but recently it seems the powers that be are using desperate immigrants as scape goats for all their own mistakes and crimes
Foreign policy in the West has huge impact on poorer people and nations
Imo
Money Game 3 is not music is art
…..by music 😊
You should kanye west - runaway a listen!!! Very good song
You really need to listen to JOYNER LUCAS - ROSS CAPICCHIONI

Not throwing shade or hatin' on ya, I loved the reaction and your commentary, just playing devils advocate and throwin' my 2 cents in. There is something to be said about immigrating here legally, the proper way, I'd like to point to three of them specifically.............
1. We've made it so impossibly difficult to do it "properly", it's a wonder anyone gets in truly legally. Despite the popular narrative of the right, Biden already addressed keeping more out, by almost doubling the amount of border agents, continuing trump's unconstitutional title 42 until last fall, only to replace it with something more strict, and Harris's public declaration in 2021 to immigrants to turn around and don't come here, we won't let you in, has all led to it being more difficult for asylum seekers and refugees to get into the country than any other time in our history other than post 9/11 or during WWII. What's desperately needed is more immigration judges and people that process the incoming people in order to vet them and figure out which ones legit just want a better life. Which legislators finally came up with a bipartisan bill to do just that, but one of the candidates for president thought it would make Biden look good, and told his cult members in the House to kill it.
2. During our country's golden age, 1952-1970, we had more undocumented immigrants living and working here than at any other time in our countries history. Undocumented immigrants pay appx $6billion in taxes a year and contribute appx $12billion to social security from payroll deductions. Yet they receive nothing in return, no social security when they retire, no free phone, almost no govt. assistance, and they can't vote. If they all disappeared tomorrow our economy would collapse.
3. The reason for the pushback against the term "illegal immigrant" is because very few are actually "illegally" here. U.S. codified law, backed by several SCOTUS cases and the immigration act of 1981, clearly state that an asylum seeker or refugee does NOT have to stop at the first country they come to when leaving their own, and they DO NOT have to enter the U.S. at a border crossing!! They are allowed to enter the U.S. at any location along our border via air, water or land as they see fit, and in the safest way possible. Once their feet touch American soil they have temporary citizenship with our Bill of Rights excluding the 2nd, until such time an immigration judge can see them, and they have a year to make that appointment.
Only 30% of undocumented citizens in the U.S. get here via ground at our southern border. The last two years the number of people that emigrated from the U.S. to Mexico was higher than Mexicans that immigrated to the U.S. The bulk of asylum seekers the last year or so has been from Venezuela, and about 50% of them have a 4yr college degree or higher, and had white collar jobs back home. Not to mention, U.S. meddling is directly the cause for most of the countries they're coming from, collapsing.
Brotha lynch - meat cleaver watch it first
I would really love to see you react to "Sick Boi", his 30 minute video explaining why Sick Boi, which was about his journey of medical misdiagnoses and medical gaslighting, was taken down off UA-cam thanks to the producer Kujo who caused the copyright strike by using a Bulgarian choir sample that wasn't cleared. He essentially blamed it on Ren and tried to extort him for money. Then finally after so much bs from Kujo and his girlfriend including physical threats, Ren made a video in response called "Kujo Beatdown" and it was a side of Ren we've never freaking seen before because he was so hurt personally, financially and extremely pissed off. It's OBVIOUS that he is the nicest, empathic man who just wanted to provide a solution but Kujo got greedy and you don't want to see that pissed side of Ren. He did not deserve this extremely shitty treatment. "Kujo Beatdown" got so many views and reactions that the head guy of UA-cam sat down with Ren and removed the block so it's back up to watch now. Please, please, please react to these three videos!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I would love to hear your thoughts lol!
Thanks so much for your kind comments!
@larryshair You are so welcome! Am such a fan of you and your reactions. One of my favorites was I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables by Anne Hathaway. I love music and am so passionate about Ren and his artistry, he's a modern day Shakespeare!❤️
